And on his farm he had a deer, a duck, a camel and an ostrich which he turned into burgers. Nice looking small place, good looking food but most importantly tasty food. The wok fried chips with peppers and onions were delicious. The burger was tall and needed all the fried onion removing from it but tasted good. A few small improvements I would suggest is to use a higher quality cheese when making a venison burger. Plus I think the burger had been pressed during cooking making it dense. Overall though was really good so can't really complain. Hope they open earlier in the day soon.
Situated in the old Robbins cinema, know as The Ritz. We have a cat lounge where you can sit with our cats and if you are very lucky, they will let you stroke and play with them. We also have a separate cafe/Restaurant area, if you do not want to eat with
Sitting down drinking coffee while watching kittens playing has to be a truly relaxing and stress free way to enjoy a break from the stressful life we live today. I loved having the freedom to photograph the kittens and adult cats running around, play fighting, while enjoying my coffee. The coffee was excellent and unlike so many coffee shops in Burton, was more coffee than water. Staff were amiable and happy to chat with you too.

Our first visit and on a busy Saturday night. Table was booked for 20.30 but we didnât eat a thing until 21.45. Waitress was lovely and apologised and gave us a round of drinks on the house without us asking for anything which was very nice of her.Good things - lovely waitress, food was amazing, nice bustling atmosphere. Not so good things - Long wait, expensiveAnd whats the lettuce wedge all about ? Donât quite get that Love your review, Thank you for so honest comment and we are so sorry about wait, but Saturday night is really hard for us and we try make everyone happy. And the lettuce wedge originally came from an old America steak house back in 1950s. We've put our own twist on it, as it use to be served plain. The lettuce Wedge is a refreshing accompaniment that compliments the rich flavours of the steak.

Free car park, beautiful building, lovley grounds and nice food, what's not to like?Dispointment started the moment we arrived, and, hoping to have a pre diner drink on the patio overlooking lovey gardens, the gas had run out on the patio heaters so that was out, a bit disappointing as the setting was one of the reasons for my choice of venue. The food was good, however the service, although poite and friendly, was inatentive, we waited some time to be able to ask for the (advertised) dairy free menu and the vegiterian menu. The food took some time to come but it was cooked well so that's not a problem. When I booked I was asked to pay a deposit, I understand the problems restaurants can have with "no show" so I was content to pay, however when the bill came the £100 deposit was not deducted ! Embarrasing to question the bill but I could't wave £100 so I tried to find someone by the till to question it . When someone did show they seemed suprised I'd had to pay this so called normal deposit, however after some tapping of the POS screen the deposit payment was dicovered and acknowleged, all be it without apoogy for the oversight. Overall it could have been a great evening but dissapointing due to lackluster customer service.Thank you for taking the time to send us your feedback following your recent visit to The Winery. We are sorry to hear that the service you received was not to our usual standard. It is standard procedure for a deposit payment to be made for parties of 10 and over (particularly on our busiest days) and we can only apologise that this was not deducted from your bill before this was presented. We have taken your comments on board and are working hard to rectify the issues you have raised with ongoing staff training. We hope you will return to us again in the future to give us another try
