Discover Restaurants offering the best French food in Cheltenham, England, United Kingdom. Cheltenham was just your average, sleepy town until the discovery of a spring in 1716, after which it became Britain's most popular spa town. (Like Palm Springs without the casinos.) Local Cheltonians have a reputation for being wealthy and respectable, and a walk along the Promenade will give you a first-class view of their wonderful houses, shops and gardens. After taking in the waters at the Pittville Pump Room (great name for a spa), check out the Art Gallery and Museum to learn about the social history of Cheltenham.

Loved the atmosphere and the friendly staff. Very knowledgeable about the cheese and wine. We had 2 different sharing boards between 4 and they were lovely. Wine was exceptional at £24..... a nice relaxed evening. Would definitely return.

We have transformed our Brasserie in the old Ballroom of the Queen's Hotel in Montpelier into a truly beautiful, authentically French dining space. Lounge with a cup of coffee, socialise at the bar, enjoy lunch or dinner with friends. The patio offers al
We booked a table for an early lunch, between sessions at the literary festival. Our waitress was a lovely friendly person who attended to us promptly, which was very reassuring as we needed to feel secure in being able to have a leisurely lunch but still get back in time for the next session. We are an awkward couple to feed as I'm vegetarian and my husband is coeliac but there was plenty of variety for both of us.Each course was served exactly the right amount of time after the previous one, the food was good and the portion sizes spot on. The bill, for 3 courses each, coffee and a bottle of very nice wine was reasonable. To add to all this the decor is pleasant and there is a nice atmosphere. Yes, I'll be back.Good AfternoonThank you so much for such a wonderful review, the team is delighted with your feedback and we do hope this was not your last visit to us and we will see you again!ThanksBrasserie Blanc

Attended a lunchtime birthday party with 15 friends. We were situated in the privacy of the first floor overlooking Montpellier Gardens which was very pleasant. Our host had chosen the 'Prestige Set Menu' which made ordering easy for both myself and my wife French Onion Soup for me, very tasty but unfortunately came in a small bowl, I could of done with seconds. My wife started with Baked Crottin which she enjoyed. We both had a good portion of Roasted Pork Tenderloin for main, very well presented and cooked. For sweet we both chose Crumble aux Pomme, again very tasty. All 16 meals were served at the same time and hot. Would we return my wife already has with her brother for breakfast which they both enjoyed. The only disadvantage is parking but this is much the same anywhere in Cheltenham.

The genuine French Restaurant of Cheltenham
Went on the recommendation of a local as I was from out of town. Dinner did NOT disappoint!! Food was outstanding (Iâm still dreaming about my scallop appetizer)! The rest of my party also throughly enjoyed their meals. Wine selection was good, and the wines we had were fabulous. Canât recommend this place enough. Donât know when Iâll be back in town, but Iâll be stopping by LâArtisan when I do.

We were warmly welcomed and enjoyed excellent service throughout the evening. Amuse bouches were a wonderful touch with such fantastic authentic tastes as pani puri. The vegan menu was extensive and contained lots of interesting dishes. All dishes were prepared to perfection and visits from the chef to ensure we were happy was such a nice offer. Definitely somewhere unique and special to enjoy an evening with friends.
