Lewy's fish and chips is a takeaway located on hayle's harbour, serving delicious food all year round.
A steady stream of people use this excellent Fish & Chip shop where orders are taken and then cooked while you wait in a small but warm seating area. The result is individually boxed meals that stay warm while you get back to your accommodation or car. Within walking distance of bus stops and the railway station it was a great find on our first night in Hayle particularly as many other eating places are closed or don't serve food on Mondays. There is a slight step in as part of the door frame - so don't trip like I nearly did. The portions are big - we should have ordered less chips

Very good fish and chips. My wife had salad instead of chips and that was a bit disappointing. Friendly polite service. We have been before and would certainly go back. Prices also reasonable.

During our holiday we fancied a night in with a few drinks, enjoying watching Glastonbury highlights and enjoying a cheeky takeaway. My wife had a pizza and I had a mixed kebab and we shared some chips. My wife loved her pizza and found it tasty and filling, not too salty. She did not eat it all and had some cold the next day. I had a mixed kebab with hot chilli and also found this very nice, a good size and not too stingy with the meat or salad. All of the meat was cooked well, not undercooked or burnt. The chips was a pleasant large portion and had been cooked well.We had this delivered, it arrived in good time and was fresh and hot.Well done.

Had takeaway fish and chips and childs fish and chips. The chips were wonderful but the fish wasn't as fresh as it should have been and lots of brown fishy tasting fish if that makes sense. This place has great reviews but i wasnât impressed.

What has happened to your food? The last couple of take aways we have had from you have been dripping in grease, with soggy chips! The cardboard take away container couldn't hold the amount of grease coming from my food, it went straight through and the excess grease congealed on my plate, not at all appetizing :(
