Chips were nice so was the curry sauce and mushy peas. Cod was small and my partner had large haddock which smelt funny and tasted funny so he couldn't eat it. Rang and told the manager and all he could say was we would get our money back for the haddock. Not good enough after waiting 25 mins to collect it. This is why I'm reviewing it as poor.Hi Julie,Thank you for your feedback and sorry you feel your first experience was bad. Can you just explain what you mean when you say the “Cod was small” In terms of the Haddock, I’m not sure what could be wrong as I know it comes in fresh every Friday morning straight off the boat. It would be helpful if you could bring it back so that we can investigate. What would you suggest as an alternative to offering you a refund ? We would be happy to offer you a replacement instead perhaps ?Thank you.

I went to this charming eatery roughly 10 months ago. I wore my top hat, my frock coat and my comfortable pantaloons with a bit of wind up the old todger but not enough wind that upset my beans, and wind moving through my massive moustache with pride you wouldn't believe. Knowing Subway was one of the most finest, best restaurants in the area and feeling privileged I could afford such great food, I proudly pushed aside the front doors of restaurant elegantly, casually stepped in the restaurant with extraordinary pride and wearing my finest clothes. Behind the counter was one of the most beautiful ladies I've ever laid my eyes on, she was callipygian, had a beautiful face with big assets. There was nobody else in the restaurant except me and the staff, just how I like it, there was no constant twattling bursting my eardrums going on. Upon seeing the lovely ladies appearance, I happily took my hat off and bowed to her, showing my utmost respect for her beauty. I then strode forth, smacking a bit of cash on the counter and smiled at the Angel sent down from heaven before putting my trusty top hat back on. The lady looked shocked, which wasn't surprising as I constantly get surprised looks from women as they obviously think I'm extraordinarily handsome; so her shocked look made me appreciate her even more. The lady asked what I wanted, and I replied saying that 'if I'm honest I want you my lady, how much'? The lady giggled and then asked what I wanted food-wise. I asked her that I wanted a food crafted from her hand, so I may call it our son. She then got buns ready and asked what I wanted inside them, I told her a bit of everything. She made our son with terrific haste and expertise, I encouraged her the entire time and made sexual moans the entire time she made our sandwich son to try and mimic the real thing. I smiled from ear to ear when she presented me with our son, I gladly paid the sandwiches Mother a few pounds for it like a true gentleman as she did all the childbirth and the hard work. I asked her what she thought we should call our son. She ignored that so I assumed she couldn't think of a good name, I decided to name our son Crumbly as he didn't stick together in one piece very well. I kissed Crumbly, ignoring my temptation to eat the delicious tomato and various meats inside his buns. I told Crumbly where his Mummy was but Crumbly was mute. Crumbly's Mother then said she wasn't his Mother and that sandwiches don't have Mothers. I accused her of being racist and told her that I'll look after our lovely son by myself if necessary. Crumbly's Mother laughed a lot, which made my lively little sausage very stiff indeed and made me think about making a second son right there. However I resisted my temptation to make another son as no son should be brought up with a Mother that doesn't care about them, so I turned my back on her and walked out of the restaurant with mixed feelings. Once outside the restaurant I looked down at my son, who was casually sitting in both of my hands with his sauce dripping down onto my hands, and promised him that no matter what happens I'll look after him and make his life great. Well to make a long story short I think I did, me and Crumbly went everywhere together I took him to the fair, to the cinema, to the shops, introduced him to our friends and family; however no matter how much I washed him he seemed to get smellier with each passing day and eventually wasted away within a year despite my best efforts to preserve him. Overall, I am extremely grateful of the experience I had at this fine restaurant as without it I wouldn't of had that son that I am so immensely fond of and will never forget the lovely moments I had with him. RIP Crumbly, Papa loves you.Well....not sure how to respond as I cant make up my mind if your review is a wind-up or not? You appear to have a very over-active imagination and possibly 'Walter Mitty Syndrome'.......My psychiatrist friend defined 'Walter Mitty Syndrome' as when a person daydreams about himself being in another life. The name comes from a short story where the main character thinks up exciting scenarios for himself in his head when he's bored. But anyway we are happy you enjoyed your freshly made SUB so much so as to write a short story about it. I checked out the reviews you have submitted about other eating places & they all follow a similar disturbing pattern concerning woman. I welcome your business and also welcome any constructive feedback from you concerning your experience of our food & staff but in future please confine the things going on in your head concerning my female staff private & not in the public domain of a review.

We had researched Arepa's Station before our visit to Cambridge as my husband is strictly gluten free due to coeliac disease. What a great place! The food was fantastic, piping hot and piled high with a very tasty pulled beef and cheddar filling (one of many to choose from). Would easily recommend, whether you need gluten free or not it's a marvelous place to eat.

Africfood is the best stall in market sq by a mile, went to the brick and mortar restaurant on Newmarket rd for the first time this evening and it was even better. The Ayamase is delicious , not as spicy as others I have elsewhere but the flavour is great , the egusi soup with gari was also banging. You can tell the goat is fresh and top quality. The boss lady is lovely, the portions at the gaff were bigger than the market but both venues are very good value . The only way I could see the place could improve is to add more menu items. The guy who left the 1⭐️ review titled "Curry full of bones" has clearly never ❌appreciated real food. He has also written four 4️⃣❗️separate 1⭐️ reviews for the same restaurant (Prana). ‍♂️Bruh‍♂️; what variant of Stockholm syndrome is that where you go back to the same self assessed 1⭐️ Balti house 3 additional times?!?It is a great pleasure to serve you our lovely food, glad that you enjoyed it. We appreciate your wonderful and encouraging review. We look forward to seeing you again soon. Thank you Africfood

Amelie Flam-kuche

A mega tasty, mega thin crispy flatbread topped with the freshest mouthwatering ingredients. Perfect from dawn till dusk!

Reviewed By futtock21

If only every shopping centre’s food hall could have such an outlet! Lucky Grafton Centre to have instead of the usual Big Boys’ Burgers or Trivial Tapas let alone Pasta Naff the culinary delight that are Amelie’s Flamkuchen. These are essentially light and crispy Alsatian flatbreads adorned with delicacies ranging from the ‘authentic’ smoked bacon and gruyere cheese with creme fraiche through salmon and avocado, Moroccan lamb, courgettes chickpeas and honey to goats cheese and beetroot. I chose prawn with mozzarella, cherry tomatoes, capers and sweet chilli sauce. This I would receded by the creamiest of pea soups and followed by a sweet flatbread with apple and raisins. All washed down with a bottle of Amelie’s specially commissioned ale from the Stour valley. Altogether a heavenly way to forget about the contested domestic abuse and general nastiness of a family case in which I was involved later in the afternoon.
