Lovely sea views and friendly, helpful staff helped ensure that this lunch was spot on. We booked a great table with a sea view. There were two menus to choose from today: a special Fatherâs Day selection and the standard daily selection. We had exceptional fish dishes of Skate and Halibut and our daughter went for the spiced lamb burger. Each was delicious. Iâd happily return anytime.

What an absolute waste of time and money. The food at Crab & Winkle is mediocre at best but the management and service was dire. This establishment is run by Peter and his foul wife Elizabeth and I can say with certainty that it is time for a change in management!! Before Peter leaves a snarky reply to this review in an obvious attempt to deny responsibility - our table was booked by a friend in their name and unfortunately I DID dine at Crab & Winkle in Whitstable (though I wish Iâd never set foot inside). Iâm not one for trip advisor reviews but canât stand nasty owners lording it over their staff and customers so had to write in. The couple that runs this restaurant have no place working in service or dealing with the public. They are rude, inhospitable and donât know the first thing about service. The way the wife speaks to suppliers on the phone in earshot of their customers is truly shocking but pales in comparison to their approach to their own poor staff and god forbid a paying customer makes a valid complaint. Manners cost nothing!Shocking place - AVOID AT ALL COSTS!Thank you so much for your kind words, We know you have the same issues with the Inn Wales, as they have call us, yes business talk to each other. Your review, the same one you posted 2 WEEKS ago, in your words, why would you come BACK. If you did at all. We have been is business for 20 years, and with your great review we will trade for many more.

Ate and drank here a few times during a recent family break. Loved the breakfast and coffee here - excellent quality ingredients and obviously lovingly cooked. Service was really friendly. Cafe is quite small but thatâs part of its charm - we loved it. Our favourite place in Whitstable.Aww, lovely people, thankyou so much. We're super pleased you enjoyed it and it makes it worth while when such nice things are written.Cafe + Kitchen

Welcome to Mucini Italian Kitchen. Set in the attractive Whitstable suburb of Tankerton, on the north east coast of Kent, Mucini is a small family-run restaurant which offers a fresh approach to traditional Italian and Mediterranean cuisine. We invite you
We have just returned from an evening at Mucini. We were really looking forward to this meal, having read the many good reviews. Sorry to say the food was lovely but the service was atrocious. We were seated next to the toilet ( personally I would not put a table there) We sat down at 8 and a lovely waitress took out order about 10 minutes later. No problem there. Unfortunately she then left for the evening. It took almost an hour for our starters to arrive and once those plates were taken a further hour at least for our main meal. We were not offered a dessert so we decided to leave. We requested the bill twice in 30 minutes and the waiters reply was I believe itâs being made up. We only had 3 drinks and 4 dishes!!! In the end I went to the till to request to pay. The bill was not made up but the waitress found it! So in short. The food was nice, but we will not be returning. Certainly didnât feel any respect for our custom.

We popped in for brunch on a drizzly Wednesday and enjoyed a tasty cooked English fry-up. It was great although the only option for toast was soda bread which is not my favourite. And I didnât like the homemade baked beans - I would have preferred Heinz personally! But we had a good hearty meal which was just the job on a dreary day, and the service was super.

Visited last August with friends and had a wonderful meal. Was delighted to have an equally wonderful meal second time around. Every dish we had was exceptional. Really appreciated trying a few of the wines before buying too. Dish of the day was the ribs for me. Sweet, sticky and melted in your mouth. In my opinion, this it the best Tapas I have had in the UK. we shall be back!
