Following on from our very successful Hackney Pivaz, we are opening a luxurious, authentic Turkish restaurant on Epping High Street in June. With stunning décor and beautifully cooked, traditional Turkish food, Pivaz will bring a new lease of culinary lif
Pivaz is a very comfortable modern restaurant serving Turkish food. As a group 6 adults and 1 child we had a meal on a Saturday afternoon in a very relaxed atmosphere. The food was absolutely delicious and is presented attractively on unique crockery. We had a variety of starters that included octopus, calamari, prawns all of which very fresh. For mains we had a variety of chicken, lamb, mixed, adana and beyti kebabs. The meat was so tender we decided they were the best kebabs weâve had for a long time. Our child meal was chicken kebab with real potato chips, delicious!!

An exquisite fine dining restaurant located on the outskirts of the charming market town of Epping and the beautiful Epping Forest. Haywards offers modern European cuisine across a range of menus - the great value set lunch menu available Thursday to Satu
A real delight. Kitchen skills, presentation and service are all excellent. Staff have been carefully recruited and very well trained. For us the dessert on the tasting menu was slightly out of balance (a little too heavy after 5 courses with extras, and the flavouring of thyme was a bit unsubtle) but overall a delightful meal carefully created, skilfully prepared and beautifully presented. Damn good chef and excellent front of house.Watch this space for further well deserved awards - a 3rd rosette must surely be overdue, and a star can't be far behind. Recommended.

Last night I had a pizza with a friend and asked for some chilli oil. It arrived in a small bowl with a spoon rather than a bottle and spout. The pizza was good, but the bill included a charge of £1 for chilli oil. I have NEVER been charged for chilli oil in any other restaurant. There was no charge for the extra parmesan my friend had.Just seemed so unnecessary and left a bad taste at the end of the meal.Dear Ian, thanks for your feedback. Sorry you feel you left with a bad taste in your mouth. Please allow me to explain that we buy fresh chillies, then olive oil goes in it to add flavour. The extra fresh chilli pot is a side or an item extra requested by the customer.

Six of us had a meal on a Sunday lunch time. Vegan options didn't look exciting but the food when served was delicious. We had the bruchetta sharing platter to start then two of us had pasta and one a burger. The carnivores had excellent choices and all through my enjoyed. Staff were very friendly and so helpful. Thoroughly recommend. Would suggest a vegan roast option should be added to the menu. Thanks for the kind review! We're glad you enjoyed the food! Always happy to accommodate carnivores and herbivores alike.Hope to see you again soon.Kind Regards,Donal

Delightful and quaint restaurant situation right next to Roydon station. The menu is really good, lots of delicious pizzas and pastas to please the whole family. The owner/manager is really welcoming and gave my mum a happy Motherâs Day cupcake which was really sweet of her. Would definitely return!

Sits alongside the River Stort near Harlow Mill lock.
Food was great. There were five of us and everyone said their meal was really good. It was at lunch time and quite empty but the restaurant and the young girl waitress and the man waiter were both really friendly and helpful. I have coeliac disease and have to follow a gluten free diet and they couldn't have been more accommodating to me personally. Best meal I have had out in a long time. I live in Essex and often go to London but this was by far the best value with great food and excellent staff that I have come across in some time. Ticks all the boxes.
