With a table booked we arrived on a busy Friday night . After being sat down at a nice table we eagerly anticipated a lovely meal . We were immediately asked for our drinks order . Drinks quickly arrived we started to choose our meal .order taken we were ready for a good night . The starters were quite good and plentiful. After a quite long wait for our mains and after a lot of prompting they eventually arrived . Three of the four dishes were met with approval. While one of the dishes ( mine ) hot red curry was very very disappointing the order was wrong and I got the bog standard red curry which was to say the least bland beyond belief. They did offer to replace the dish to the hot curry required but it was to late . The red curry offering was at best a ready meal fit only for the microwave. A major dissapointment. I won't be going again. Form your own opinion.

Been a few times passing .well cooked and delicious. And fair priced. Will def be returning and trying the many different choices. When we entered the restaurant mid afternoon, one of our group greeted the staff with a friendly "Ola". This did not appear to go down well with the manager who told the waitress to put our small group in a corner table in an almost empty restaurant. We ordered a starters, small plates and drinks. One of the group has food allergies and asked for a dish without sauce and was told that this was boring! Rather that than ill. We decided to cut our losses and leave after this. Don't get me wrong, the food was good but the attitudes need improvement. Over £100 including tip for a forty minute visit.Thanks for coming to dine with us and great to hear you enjoyed your food. I spoke to the manager working yesterday and he remembers talking with you and thought he'd had a pleasant exchange, it's sounds like his 'boring' was was met as well as your 'ola', maybe they were lost in translation! He asked me to pass on his apologies if you thought there was any underlying current :-)I asked him which table he'd seated you at and it was the large sharing table in the window, many people like this as it has a nice view but as you say, the restaurant was quiet at the time you visited so if you'd asked we'd have happily moved tables for you.Anyway, hope we see you again, when I'm sure you'll be greeted with a smile :-)

We went to Mews Thai for a birthday celebration and I was very impressed. The food was fantastic, hot and delicious, so good. The service was excellent, the ambiance was lovely, very relaxed, and we enjoyed the whole evening.We chose our meals from the Early Bird Menu and everything we had was excellent. The food was perhaps a little bit more spicy then other Thai food I have had but it was all the better for that. Nothing was too hot, just more tasty.I highly recommend Mews Thai and will definitely be going back.Thanks for taking the time to post a review. As ever, we do appreciate genuine customer feedback.

Called to get a takeaway for four on our way to visit friends. Ordered a platter for two, King Prawns with Garlic, Green Duck Curry, Chicken Muslim Curry, Chicken and Cashew Nuts, Spicy Thai Fried Rice and a portion of Steamed Rice. Order took about 25 minutes to prepare. On arrival at our friends we all tucked in and nothing went to waste. It was all delicious.Dear DaveandLynda311, great to hear from yet another satisfied customer. We are regular visitors here, particularly for take aways but havenât eaten in for a while. Booked a table at short notice & glad they could accommodate us for sonâs birthday tea.Ordered 3 starters which were absolutely delicious. We followed this by 3 mains & rice. Once again the main courses were so tasty. The chicken was very tender & the sauces so fresh & flavoursome. The thai green curry was particularly good. Service friendly & attentive as well. Excellent value at less than £20 / head including drinks.
