I tried Leather and Willow pizza at a recent family event. The pizza is cooked beautifully, with lots of choice of toppings and the service was friendly and professional. I walked away taking a business card and have already recommended to a friend for their upcoming wedding.
Amazing food... ordered penne Arrabbiata and pomodoro e basilico... can't wait to try the Arrabbiata as they delivered two tiny... but very tasty pomodoro's... Top tip don't order from here if you are hungry. If your on a diet you'll love it!

Bright and modern, PizzaExpress Basingstoke (Festival Place) offers an exciting reinvention of Italian classics. A vibrant menu includes wholesome Romana-style pizzas with adventurous topping combinations, as well as fresh salads, an impressive range behi
Ordered a Vegan Giardinera pizza as a long-standing vegetarian. Pizza arrived, looked fine, I started eating it and discovered pepperoni in it. Made the waitress aware (she was a vegan so understood how distressing this was), had a new pizza which was fine. I asked the manager for reassurances and he was unable to give any, said their staff were 'only human'. He didn't seem to understand how upsetting this could be. It would concern me to eat there again if you can't trust the kitchen staff to follow their own recipes, particularly when they are trying to target people who have dietary requirements and allergies.

Out with a friend last night to celebrate her birthday.Downsides: no double cream for licquer coffees/floater coffees; sometimes need reminding to remove items from the table after not required...(I always like to free up real estate on the table)...therefore very good but not excellent rating But really...Upsides: the food is consistently good at The Whitehouse; great drinks menu; wonderful salads with their legendary (I love it) sauce - and The Whitehouse has more character than the Festival Place version.Parking - they have an overspill car park over the road which is only a two minute walk away.Service is always friendly - and donât forget to download vouchers which saved 20% on food last night (and effectively covered their tip!).Even on a Tuesday night they were busy - and that is in itself a testament to a wonderful place to go for a relaxed; good value meal out.(He wasnât there last night but look out for a middle aged Italian waiter who is classically effusive in a way that only friendly Italian waters can be - great bloke.)Fully recommended and Iâll be back soon.

At Zizzi we like to do things a little differently. We donât do over-complicated recipes or scrimpy portion sizes. Weâre all about the well-chosen ingredients, simply put together to make exceptional Italian food.Located at the top of the old part of town
Had some lovely king prawns for starters and the house pizza which were both very fresh and tasty. Colleague had the special garlic bread too start which was a lot of bread! And then had the lasagna which he again said both were brilliant. Our choice of white wine was not the best but we drank it (it was not off, just not to our taste). The young lady serving us was very attentive and friendly and a credit to the restaurant, which is nice to see nowadays. Would use again.

ASK Italian in Basingstoke is a place for great food and warm service. Think fresh bread made to tear and share. A glass of fine wine worth deserving of your time. Delicious main dishes prepared the traditional way. Everything we know and love about Itali
Luckily we used vouchers to cover most of the bill as we werenât impressed with the quality of food and service. After we were eventually seated it took 10-15 minutes before we were waited on.The staff just seemed disjointed, unhappy and understaffed. Although they could have been better organised. The manageress never smiled and took ages to receive the bill after asking her.The food was very hot but not the best. Iâve had pork belly in many restaurants. With meat that would fall away and very moist. None of which resembled what I had been served. Very tough and bland. My wife had chicken with a source served on the side. It was ok but nothing special. Very little source which made it quite dry.Wont be going to an Ask restaurant again.
