Brighton's critically acclaimed Terre a Terre is a vegetarian restaurant that will have even the most ardent carnivore waxing lyrical. Situated close to the sea-front. The decor is chic and stylish, using wooden floors and furniture to contrast with vibra
The food here is amazing and shows that you donât need meat to have a great meal. We started with some KFC (Korean Fried Cauliflower) which was delicious and onigiri deary which was served with some lovely risotto. I then had sneaky peeking Steamers which were absolutely amazing. They were well presented and tasted really good! I then finished off with some outstanding churros served with some caramel and chocolate dips. Overall, the food here is amazing and you will always have a great meal.

Although I booked the table informing one of us was vegan I was very disappointed to find no VG nibbles or sides. The only VG main course was tomato tart which had to go solo due to no suitable sides followed by tart tatin, two pastry dishes with no alternative was very disappointing. We did enjoy our meals but I felt bad for my daughter who had no choice whatsoever. We did ask if any of the sides were vegan (bbq sweet corn surely canât be difficult to convert back to VG?) and were told by the waiter that they could âprobablyâ do something but he wasnât very convincing and didnât attempt to find out. My daughter has been keen to try this restaurant for a while but doesnât like being labelled and is reluctant to ask questions and make a fuss but surely in a restaurant such as this it should be fairly standard to offer an alternative and they did know she was coming.

We had a fabulous evening at TheWitchez, the food was fantastic, we had a range of dietary considerations within our group which were well catered for, nothing was too much trouble. Even the dogs were well catered for. Everyone enjoyed every course/element of our meal. The service was brilliant, Maddie took the time to explain the menu, and how the individual dishes could be adapted to our requirements. The surroundings were so relaxed, it felt like we were have a lovely dinner at home. I cannot recommend TheWitchez enough, they are passionate about what they do, and genuinely care about their customers. A real gem. X

Had an amazing wedding anniversary dinner here last night. It began very well with a tasty crispy chicken skin nibble, then graduated to sublimity with two exceptional larger dishes:Fried chicken, gochujang, sesame, herb slaw, kimchi remouladeTamarind braised lamb shoulder, spinach, feta, mustard seed oilBoth were a snip at under a tenner each. The £22 bottles of Nero d'Avola were also delicious. The overall bill represented excellent value.Only been here for wine/cheese/nibbles before but the dinner options are definitely worth returning for.
