A little gem of a place. Decided to go early Sunday evening. Shared chicken wings to start . They were tasty and succulent . My partner had the butterfly chicken medium with piri fries and I had the ribs. Both were very tasty. Only issue couldnât eat it all, but brought leftover ribs back with me. Friendly family run restaurant , with smiles from all of them. I did have to point out a discrepancy on the bill though , she had forgotten to add on drinks and thanked us for our honesty. Will definitely be coming backThank you very much for your honest review, we are very pleased you like it, and looking forward to see you again!

Decided on a whim to go for dinner, place was busy so sat in the bar.Ordered drinks, then ordered food.Got cutlery and sauces.Rolled cutlery was all stained or damp so no one checked these on a daily basis.Food arrived.Myself - rump medium, jacket half a baby tomato grilled and half a mushroom Partner - Sticky salmon with rice and pineapple Daughter - Cauliflower macaroni n cheese, sweet potato fries, corn on cob.Myself - steak perfect, jacket old and tepid, no offer of butter , half a tomato - really ? Half a tomato - stingy or what.Partner - sticky salmon, who the hell created that on the menu ?Nothing on it works together.Salmon was not grilled, pineapple unripe, rice okay, no sour cream, no salsa, corn on cob okay. But that sauce on the salmon, Gordon Ramsey would destroy the menu if he visited. My daughter- we ordered this as last time she had it, it was lovely.Got, grilled melted cheese on top. Crunch hot fries and hot buttered corn on cob, the reality was the white macaroni slopped in a bowl, warm chips and old peas, wait - we ordered corn on cob Not impressed, did we complain - no.We were tired and hungry and went to McDonalds on way home for my daughter. How do you get simple food so wrong? Please , we like using your restaurant but this has put us off.And the salad bar, keep an eye on it. Most of it was empty, no butter, no side plates, lots if spillages.Everybody should check when they walk past itHello Sacleegilbert thank you for taking the time to leave us a review of your visit and I'm sorry it wasnt a more positive experience for you. You have mentioned you didnt speak to a member of the team at the time but if you wish to discuss with out management team please feel free to send us an email to [email protected] We hope to see you again soon.Kind RegarsdLaceySupervisor

My sister (who lives close by) said lets try this new little place and we were not disappointed. The building is behind the local pub and seems to be newly renovated in a very attractive way, a very clean and friendly café which sells beautifully presented snacks which seem to be made of fresh good quality ingredients, I had a toasted panini served with a little side salad, coleslaw and some crisps it was delicious, the cakes looked homemade and amazing but I was too full for one. It's an attractive little yard with a Post Office, a Bridal shop and a bike garage all behind the pub, it's perfect for cyclists. I hope business is good because it's such an excellent little area.Thank you so much for the wonderful feedback, we certainly to try to ensure our food is fresh and locally sourced. Great to hear you enjoyed the food, our shop and the surrounding area. See you again

We are a passionate, family run Indian and Bangladeshi restaurant serving our home-cooked recipe's.
We tried this restaurant as a result of reading the good trip advisor reviews, and we were absolutely not disappointed. We were given a warm and friendly welcome and shown to a table which would not disgrace the finest of fine dining establishment. The food was excellent - beautifully prepared and delicious - a slight hiccup when they hadn't got our chosen bottle of wine, but who cares when the second choice bottle (an Indian wine ) was so good.Service was first class, - we don't like to be rushed, but also hate being kept waiting, so they got it exactly right. And attentive without being overbearing, these chaps really know their stuff. We had a really good evening and certainly will return, - so in short, if you want well above average Indian food served with class and style, try this establishment, you will not be let down. And bye the way, if you are thinking that you have to pay through the nose for all this, you would be wrong - the final bill was very reasonable. I would suggest that some other Indian restaurants in town have a meal here to see how it should be done !

We are the neighbourhood Seafood & Grill, proudly bringing relaxed informal dining to Bedford's Cultural Quarter serving fish, oysters, steaks and grills.
Stumbled arse backwards into dinner for 70+ guests post Nice Comic Convention. Starter was the Thai chicken skewers, could do with a little more of the peanut relish marinade, but still worked well with the chill jam. Also quite spicy. 8oz rump for mains, served perfectly medium rare with a very tasty marrow butter and a small portion of mash and ratatouille veg that I didn't particularly want and didn't eat (greens would make more sense or some kind of sautéed veg. Could do with a little more of the mash. Potatoes are cheap, perhaps crushed New or Fir potatoes, keep it seasonal)Chocolate & Raspberry Frangipane torte for dessert.Very rich, too rich for me, couldn't finish the whole portion but tasted amazing. All in all a quite good meal and the kitchen and front of house team coped VERY well with the 70+ plus booking.Would definitely come here to eat again with a smaller group to try the larger a la carte menu.
