Fully refurbished in 2017, The Still & West is a stunning Grade II listed pub in Old Portsmouth, where smart modern style mingles with traditional nautical charm. Promising fine food and drink and sublime views over the Solent, itâs a special place to rel
Stopped here for lunch today during a visit to the city. Great table by a window with excellent views across the harbour entrance. My Caesar salad was extremely tasty, and the sandwiches were, Iâm told, equally nice. Hot smoked salmon was really good. Good portions too. The beer ... HSB was our tipple of choice ... and was a perfect temperature and clearly well kept. Staff were friendly and helpful - no problem at all with having a tab. One of the best pub lunches. Highly recommended. Thank you ever so much for taking the time to share your feedback and very kind review and recommendation. We very much look forward to welcoming you again soon and appreciate the support.

Nice food but lamb for roast lunch was not cut from a fresh joint, looked like packet meat. Potatoes and vegetables were very nice. Quiche and salad good too. Overall good value, but nothing to write home about and doesnât stand out from the crowd for the price. Should be better for the price charged.Thankyou for your review,we take all comments on board ,we would like to reassure you that we source all our meats locally for the best possible quality and price .regards Lynn

We had a later booking on a Saturday night and it will still really busy. There was a good atmosphere and everyone working was welcoming, friendly and knowledgable. The wine recommended was perfect for what we liked and we really enjoyed our food. Everything we tried was great, especially the fish cakes to start and my husband said the fillet steak (on specials board) was the best he had had in a very long time. Our table was quite sticky and it felt very warm but everything else made up for these small negatives.

Opened in 2018 and housed within the former Southsea Post Office building on Palmerston Road, Croxton's is an independent kitchen and tap house that offers a relaxed industrial dining experience, alongside a great selection of craft beers and real ales. D
The venue is nice down a street packed with bars and restaurants. There are a range of good food options which are well prepared and tasty. We had a burger and a vegetarian shawarma both of which were good. This is definitely above normal pub standard. The place was quiet when we got in and got pretty busy by the end. All good.
