Restaurant open to Non-Hotel residents. Please book your table in advance. Enjoy our daily changing menus and relax in our spacious restaurant whilst our staff look after you.
A bright dining room and tables with sparkling glass and silverware on pristine table cloths with proper napkins. A warm welcome to us even though we were not hotel guests. The service was exceptional with courteous and efficient staff. It seems there is always a well thought through menu with (hurrah!) innovative no meat options. We were impressed by the excellent qualiity of the food, delicious and well presented. The whole execution is very professional. Tea or coffee served afterwards in the lounge is a great idea. You don't feel pushed out after you have eaten and relaxing with a few books or a chat to other diners is a lovely way to spend the evening. A visit in September was reflected in the age range but it was non-the worse for that. (No mobile phones to be seen and everyone knew how to hold a knife and fork properly) Two discerning diners well impressed! The Bell Rock Hotel managers are to be congratulated on their staff and standards.

Booked into the Star Castle Conservatory on our last night in the Scilly islands. We were not disappointed, food, wine and service were first class. The vine which inhabits the building had clearly had a good year, grapes adding charm to the setting. The only slight let-down is the sea isnât visible - too much to ask??

Venison excellent, but in fact everything we had was amazing. Carrot veloute, John dory, tropical sorbet and even the cheese board. The dining room was set out for fine dining; candlelight and tapestries added to the ambience. Dress code relaxed (shorts not allowed). The service was attentive and the added little touches of the booking staff made the whole evening one out of the ordinary. We had a drink in the dungeon bar before heading up to the restaurant; as a working dungeon previously it has had a few famous prisoners - look out for the little plaque with names and dates, or simply ask Chuckles the host who will gladly regale you with the details, whilst efficiently serving drinks and witty anecdotes. Dear PerScientiaThank you so much for taking your time to leave a review for us.We are so pleased that you had an amazing evening with us, we really hope you will return and dine with us again soon.Kind regardsJames

A well-loved family run restaurant overlooking the beautiful harbour on St Mary's, Isles of Scilly. Open daily from late March through to the end of October. We open at 10am and serve evening meals from 6pm, except on Tuesday nights.
The view from here is amazing! We had some pretty juicy sandwiches looking out at the harbour. Itâs a little expensive but youâre paying for a lovely location.
