This place has gone massively down hill. Food was very very average indeed and turned into a common bistro you would see in the depths of Salford music blaring and full of scallys (although part not necessarily the restaurants fault) however they can turn people away for being dressed like they are going to park life!! No specials anymore and main courses just bland!! I would like to add say the staff were very friendly and did a good job

I have visited this restaurant many times and never disappointed. Visited to today, the soup of the day was mushroom and it was beautiful . The staff are very friendly, the service is excellent. Tried other places but still return here for lunch or a snack. Considering it is always busy, there is never a clutter on the table. They are always cleared and cleaned as soon as you leave

My future daughter in law and myself were busy wedding dress shopping and popped in The Lounge in between appointments. We found a table and was quickly attended by the owner and advised we needed something quick and could he accommodate. He said that wouldnât be a problem and sure enough tour food and drinks arrived very promptly. Not only that but the food was delicious. My future daughter in law can only eat gluten free but the choice was very good. The prices are very reasonable for the quality of food you get and I will certainly pay a visit again.Thank you to all staff and management

When we booked we were told that they would need the table back by 8.30 which is understood. However whilst there we were reminded constantly and eventually felt completely pushed out. I spoke to the manager and told him we had waited 50 minutes between starters and main course. He said that we hadn't and he had checked with the kitchen. So I am a liar apparently. He wasn't interested and we left without having a desert or time to think. Last time we came, we had a superb Sunday Lunch and I scored a 5. This time the food was average and the management attitude shocking. Only consolation was a lovely lady who served us and seemed embarrassed by the whole thing. I don't care who the manager checked with, we know how long we waited between courses. Will not be back!!

We are an independent Bistro serving a modern, chef-driven menu. Head Chef Cassie Bond. Local & seasonal ingredients, great wine list & cocktails.
We all enjoyed a fantastic Sunday lunch on our return visit to this lovely little restaurant. Three courses for £27 is very reasonable, especially when you experience the quality of the cooking & produce.A very interesting wine list, with bottles to suit all tastes & budgets, friendly service & wonderful food. Whatâs not to love?
