Thetford is a market town and civil parish in the Breckland district of Norfolk, England. It is on the A11 road between Norwich and London, just south of Thetford Forest. Picked up a menu one evening and thought there was a very good list of different dishes and ones that I have never seen or had before. So I decided to have a Thai chicken curry for my partner and a Chinese curry for myself Well both were very disappointing the Thai curry was bland tasteless and the gravy to runny as for the Chinese curry the same bland and tasteless. There are several good Chinese takeaways in THETFORD but unfortunately this one is not one of them.

I believe this Chinese takeaway also had a buffet in Bury St Edmunds there food there was excellent. But what has gone wrong with the takeaway in THETFORD. This was one to go to for great food but not anymore. I ordered several rice dishes but when I got home and opened the containers oh dear full of oil the rice was obviously fried in to much cooking oil. Making it soggy and unhealthy to eat. I did complain and was told the next order would not be charged for. Well the next order a few days later was the same just greasy. Itâs a shame because this was one of the best takeaway in THETFORD. Hope they see this complaint and rectify this problem.

We booked a for 2 table on New Years Eve well in advance, and were horrified to find we were squashed into a small table next to a group of 9 adults (one which was smoking) the staff ignored the smoker I asked him to refrain from smoking, he did without a problem. He went outside with 3 of he companions to do so.It took 2 1/4 hours to be served our main course, and by that time we were late for our ticketed party 20mins away. the food was of poor quality and greasy the service very slow, but I must say the staff were charming.When the 9 people next to us departed the table was left with all its debris on it least until we left half hour later. If they had a staff problem they should have refused further bookings.Avoid this rip off joint all you can eat I don't think so. more like be grateful for what you can get

Ordered a takeaway for the first time at 7.30 Saturday night. It arrived by 8pm piping hot and absolutely huge. Could have fed the neighbours too! Two mains a rice and some noodles and two of us couldn't finish it. Free prawn crackers came too. Tasty hot and quick.£3 delivery charge and we are way out of Watton. Will definately order again, but less dishes although I don't think we ordered that much really.

Ate here whilst visiting Mum for the weekend. Small restaurant which was full throughout the entire evening. Food was great - in particular some lovely vegetarian choices for my wife. Tofu pepper was excellent for her, as were the spicy aubergines (this is a dry dish though which surprised us. In the past, at other restaurants there has been sauce with this dish.) As others have already commented, the seafood was excellent... as was the sizzling chicken with green peppers in black bean sauce. Service was attentive & friendly but they were clearly struggling with the number of covers and it was a little slow- not that we were in a particular hurry. Slightly disappointed with the carafe of house wine - served in an old glass jug! Didnât look great... And no tea to end the meal... Claimed to have run out?!?! However, still a lovely meal and we will definitely go back again.
