Things to do in Hayes
There is a good selection of food here, the quality of the food is very good too. Downsides to our visit were that I didn't receive the orange juice I'd ordered and paid for till the end of my meal, I also had to ask for it. No sauces offered, you have to ask for them. The lady who served us made us feel as though we were putting her out when I only asked for my drink... perfect location, lovey food but not very cheerful staff.

Used TripAdvisor to find a local cafe for a slap up cooked breakfast. The menu was laid out clearly and concise. You could pick from set cooked breakfast menu or make your breakfast from scratch. I had the chauffeur breakfast, my friend had the builders breakfast. All I can say that both plates were empty at the end. Plus proper mugs of tea to accompany the meal.Staff very friendly and the cafe was very clean too. Will definitely come back for a slap up breakfast again.

The George is a modern British pub, with a hankering for tasty tipples, distinctive food and Barista coffee. It is your favourite local pub, coffee house, bar and restaurant - all under one roof.
I know that there are many reviews commending Jane and her amiable personality and although I have never had the pleasure of meeting her I have to, once again, sing the praises of Karolina. Oh WOW, she is a real star of this great bar. So friendly, polite and just a great asset to this bar. There are very few employees who possess such a fantastic work ethic................she never stops ! I have no idea where she gets her energy from but I dearly wish we had employees half as good. Undervalued ? probably, but she is so likeable, she could work practically anywhere and do so well. Give her a raise !!!

Great to find an independent tea and coffee shop, withold world character, in otherwise bland suburban Hayes.Pleasant efficient service. Good music and not too loud,a common problem in many coffee shops. I really enjoyedmy Earl Grey tea and poached eggs on toast. If I livedlocally I would be a regular visitor. Recommended.

Loved it. Looking to eat outside the hotel and we found this around the corner. Unassuming restaurant - don't be put off from the front room which is more cafe style, they have a smart little area around the back of the bar with full table service.Grilled Octopus, squid, salmon and beef were all excellent - generous portions, served with either salad and chips, potatoes and properly cooked (not mushy) veggies and some fried maize.Tastes were great, service friendly and family style. Proper good pour of house red which was soft, warm and worked with the food. I'll be back the next time we have a night out of Heathrow.

The Darwin is Heathrowâs very own, modern British pub. Proudly using British ingredients, The Darwin serves up breakfast, lunch and dinner as well as a range of beers, wine and our very own Barista coffee â itâs your favourite local pub, coffee house, bar
This is situated before security in Terminal 3 T Heathrow. Ideal for a meal with friends who you are seeing off. Service was friendly and efficient. We had an avocado sandwich and a fish finger sandwich. Both were excellent. Modern decor with a bar atmosphere. Recommended.
