Another great meal at La Piazza! The staff, the food the atmosphere - brilliant! They just keep getting it right. Sorry but I can't fault it. Try it and I don't think that you will be dissapointed.

Visited the restaurant on a Wednesday evening, not many tables filled which bodes well for good service.Ordered bruschetta to start and this was very poor as the tomatoes were halved and no flavour on the bread whatsoever.......very bland.The mains were very good, we both had crab ravioli which was lovely in a rich sauce with shelled and unshelled king prawns ........ very sweet. If you have to shell prawns please offer a finger bowl of fresh water.So the order was:1 x Bruschetta to start2 x Crab ravioli 1x Garlic bread with cheese 1pt Italian beer1 bottle 'tap water'The bill was £49.50 which was poor considering the tap water was the same price as the beer at £4.50.THIS HAS TO BE THE MOST EXPENSIVE TAP WATER IN THE UK!!!!!!!!!

Fratelloâs Italian Restaurant is accessed from inside the Holiday Inn hotel so is very convenient if staying at the hotel but also popular with non-hotel guests.The butterfly chicken breast was delicious, beaten breast of chicken grilled with a hint of garlic, served with chips and salad, and the Lamb Cassoulet with Gnocchi was excellent, served with chilled white wine made an excellent evening meal for us after our long journey. After a really good nightâs sleep in the Holiday Inn we enjoyed a fabulous breakfast in Fratelloâs. Food was plentiful, lots of choice and excellent service from the lovely staff. The lady server in the evening and the gentleman at breakfast were pleasant, efficient and very interesting to talk to.We shall definitely eat here again when next staying at the Holiday Inn.

While staying at the local Premier Inn we walked past d'Antonio's at lunch time. They do not serve midweek lunches and we decided to return for dinner. The menu is in Italian and English but the staff we met only knew the English names for the dishes. Being very hungry we ordered starters, three mains (one to share) and two desserts. We both had prawn cocktail to start, which was very good. Unusually it was not accompanied by any bread. I had lasagne as my main course, which I can thoroughly recommend. My partner had chicken and mushroom risotto. That too was recommended. I was offered a taste and agree that it was good. We shared a garlic prawn spaghetti. The sauce and seasoning were wonderful and there were plenty of prawns, but sharing spaghetti was perhaps not the best idea. For dessert I had lemon and almond tart. The tart came under a thick blanket of icing sugar. I removed as much of the excess sugar as I could and the tart itself was very good. I would order the same again but ask them to omit the sugar. My partner ordered the sticky toffee pudding. That too was a slight disappointment. What came resembled a golden syrup sponge. Apparently it was good but not what was expected.To summarise, the starters and mains were great but the desserts were a little disappointing. Armed with that knowledge we would definitely go back.

What fantastic pizza's we had from here, loads of toppings & at a good price. We were staying at the Flowery Dell which was outside Richmond & it wasn't a problem for them to deliver out to us. Thank you
