Loved the decor, on entering the restaurant had a comfortable, busy, lively atmosphere and having read the reviews we were looking forward to good food. Ordered the peri peri chicken starter, pesto garlic bread, and garlic mushroom bruschetta. Pesto garlic bread and bruschetta was delicious, peri peri chicken was bland.Service was fantastic, prompt and attentive I ordered the chicken tagine with preserved lemons and was really looking forward to it. I was so disappointed tasted like dry, tasteless, bland poached chicken that had no preserved lemons. The dish it was served in had large cracks. I couldnât finish it, it was so tasteless & dry. Side salad was delicious. My daughter ordered the spaghetti carbonara it was presented nicely and was delicious. The royal mix was dry watery and bland. Loved the atmosphere, service was great but was disappointed after reading the fabulous reviews to find our meals so bland and tasteless. Large car park at the co-op free after 6.Maybe stick with the pasta and pizza dishes we wanted to try the traditional Marrakesh dishes but Iâm really really sorry to say that we were hugely disappointed.

Last-minute decision to go out for a meal. You can usually rely on Bambarinos. If they can fit you in, they will. They were very busy but we got a table for three. The food was delicious. The prices are very sensible and the drinks don't cost an arm and a leg. You must remember to take cash as they don't do cards. Don't be put off with the outside of the restaurant. It's the great food you go for. There is quite a lot of off-road parking. If you don't enjoy you are very hard to please.

Italian resteraunt serving pizza pasta chicken steak fish dishes. Gluten free vegan and vegetarians catered for
My daughter and her friend had a meal here and have had the most shocking service! They watched as the other diners were asked if they were enjoying their meal whilst they were ignored and were made to feel very uncomfortable. The girls are 15, which I'm assuming was the reason they didn't get good service, but they won't be going back there and will certainly tell their friends and family so potentially a lot of customers lost!!

This is the first time at the Montebello restaurant which boasts a family run fine dining experience.I would dispute this statement and these are my reasons for the low star rating and review.Firstly the staff are running round like headless chickens and do not give an air of professional pride in the service, especially when one of the waitresses is chewing gum whilst serving. I asked for a larger shandy expecting to arrive in a pint glass but in fact what arrived was a rather large bottled beer and a bottle of lemonade which was placed on the table, certainly not what you would expect from a fine dining experience. The starter was quite nice and enjoyable. It's a pity this cannot be said for the Lamb Rump main, which when it arrived came minus the sides. We were informed this would take around 5 minutes. Then why not wait until the sides are ready and serve with the main. I asked if the Lamb was served pink and I was informed it was, when I eventually cut into the Lamb it was well done and the first four mouthful's were full of gristle. It would have helped to have had the correct knife to cut the lamb. I did raise my concerns over the lamb and was offered another main but declined due to the time delay. Our guests did try the desserts and I had an espresso coffee which came in a rather large cup surely a fine dining establishment should have the correct espresso cups.It was at this point the waitress(still chewing on her gum) started cleaning the table when I was still finishing my coffee surely it would be easier to clear the tables once the bill has been paid and the customers leave the table. This is far from a Fine dining experience. The staff require fine dining training it also requires someone who is fully trained running front of house, what I witnessed was nothing short of organised chaos. This was not a fine dining experience and I feel it was over priced for what we received. I would be more than happy for the management to discuss this further. Major Mike Bohanan

THE VIA ITALIA WAS ATMOSPHERICALLY UNFRIENDLY IN LOUTHWe decided to eat out one evening in Louth and the Italian restaurant Via Italia caught our eyes.It was very big inside and virtually empty. We wondered why. The waitress was extremely helpful and anxious to please. She even loaned me her glasses to read the menu because I left mine back in the hotel. At one end there was a cocktail bar, smart and full of mirrors.Looking around I saw arches and cream walls with a mysterious spiral stair case to access the upper floor. The hard pure black chairs help to give everything a clinical-some would say smart-look. I had more the feeling that this was a place for the Mafia to meet. I enjoy the charm and warmth of a friendly family Italian restaurant. We had a very small portion of prawns as a starter. They tasted well. I then had the chicken breast in pasta. Tiny bits of chopped chicken among the pasta. My wife returned her spaghetti Bolognese because it was not hot enough. We thought that the restaurant was overpriced for what we had received and the food was not well presented. We both decided not to stop for a desert or coffee.
