The Dining Club although now established for 7 years, is a new style of dining venue. It is unique in that you book a table and will be seated in individual dining rooms that feel more like a private dinner party than a restaurant - Proprietors Scott & Su
Last night my wife and I travelled the short distance to Deal in Kent to have our first taste of The Dining Club. Set in Deal's magnificent conservation area, The Dining Club can be found in what was previously a house, converted into a number of rooms for dining. The concept is that one registers with the club for an annual fee of £10 and are then able to book for any of the fine-dining evenings on offer throughout the year. Meals are available on Fridays, Saturdays and Wednesdays, with diners asked to bring their own wine as the Club does not have a drinks licence. A corkage fee of just £2 is charged.Last night I had Chicken Liver Mousse to start, followed by Coq au Vin. Both dishes were superb. The quality was absolutely first class. My wife, a non-meat eater, had an Asparagus Mousse and a Quorn chicken main course as an alternative. She too found her selections to be perfect. For dessert we both had Roasted Oranges in Caramel, accompanied by Chocolate Ice-cream and then we finished off with a selection of cheeses and biscuits. All of the courses were large portions and we both dragged ourselves out after 2 hours or so feeling well and truly sated!Total cost? Just £20 each for the first 3 courses, plus the £2 corkage charge and a further £10 for our shared cheese plate, ( which we really didnât need I can assure you)!So that was our first experience of Deal's Dining Club. It was superb, I mean absolutely faultless. The food was excellent, the service very informal and friendly and the setting and ambience very welcoming. We shall be going back a lot I'm sure. Our only reservation is the amount we're going to eat there! If you want a very affordable, but absolutely high quality fine dining experience then I recommend this place unreservedly. Do give it a go.

Took a chance on this from a quick Google search and definitely do not regret it! Absolutely delicious food and they had a LOVELY still rhubarb cider. The hunters BBQ chicken burger didn't scrimp on the bacon (which made for a delightful change compared to some places), the sharing desert was enough for 3 comfortably and the staff were friendly and up for a good laugh. Felt very homely and comfortable. Definitely going to return!!Thank you very much for taking the time to write us this great 5 Bubble Review. Our Rhubarb cider is a new addition to our drinks menu and is proving extremely popular. We are very pleased that you enjoyed the Hunters Burger and the sharing sundae. We are very lucky with our dedicated, friendly staff who are definitely always up for a laugh! Thank again and we look forward to seeing you again soon from all the team at The Coach & Horses.

I came here with my partner Saturday 5th October to celebrate my birthday. The restaurant was beautiful, really gorgeous decor with fairy lights and glass roof which really creates a stunning ambience. The food was really delicious and cooked to perfection. I had the smoked haddock and my partner went for the lobster! Itâs definitely worth it, so fresh. The only criticism I have is the service was very slow and scatty. Served by 4 different people! We asked for dessert menus and waited 20 minutes, they still never came so asked for the bill, waited another 10 minutes for that, then still had to ask for it! Service could be improved but the atmosphere and food was superb.

Restaurant serving Breakfast, Brunch, Lunch and Dinner, open from 8am daily. Meat, fish, vegetarian and vegan meals available. Now rebranded as The Quarterdeck.
We had a really good meal here last night and with a Rum Punch thrown in free. The Crab Tart was amazing and the Belly Pork was good too. The portions are generous. We had stopped going when this place was called Hythe Bay, it was awful, but the whole experience now is excellent. I just felt so sorry that they didn't have more people in.Thank you. We are so pleased that you enjoyed your visit and hope to see you again soon.

hotel,Bistro also down stairs cellar bar with selection of ales and ciders and a selection of malt whisky's
We choose this restaurant because was late and the one we wanted to go was not serving meals that evening. The restaurant is simple but nice and warm but the meal was wonderful. I took a surf and turf and the meat was tender like butter. My wife and daughter took the fish and chips, crispy and light. My boy took an hamburger also very tasty and juicy. Apple pies with custard really good as well. We also discovered that on the bottom of the restaurant (where the toilets are located) there is a canteen with live music. We were tired but next time we'll definitely end the evening down there.
