We had our first takeaway from this restaurant and it didnât disappoint- every dish was piping hot, the peshwani was fabulous - in fact couldnât fault anything, and they cook a dish to your requirements if you donât like it too hot!! I couldnât see a tikka and they cooked it for me, how many restaurants will do that?

Bangladeshi & Indian Restaurant and Takeway We always provide the high quality food to our customers
We always eat here when in Whitstable and another very good visit.Chana massala as mains-steamed rice and peshwari naan with tarka dhall. All piping hot and flavourful and not over salted like a lot of Indian restaurants now seem to favour.Polite service and reasonsble prices.

Excellent as always. Mostly we get take away as we are too lazy to go out the house (delivered by the lovely terry!) But when we go to the restaurant the service is always so good and the food delicious!! Always recommend Shobab! They do an excellent house red wine too ;)

I've had reason to use the Sabara three times in the last couple of weeks - friends, visitors, family - and I'm delighted to say it's back to its very best. Don't expect much in the way of atmosphere, though the owner and his son are good for a natter while you're waiting if you like passing the time that way. The family have been in Whitstable 'forever' so if there's something you'd like to know, just ask.The food is excellent as are the prices, and, if you feel like it, you can lean on the counter and watch your food being prepared through the kitchen door. Take time to peruse the menu - there's more to life than chicken vindaloo, but not much. Personally, I love the big chunks of potato... and there's lots of chunks of chicken, too. But have a look at what else is on the menu: the chef and the owner - he's a chef too - like doing some of the more unfamiliar items on the menu, so take a chance now and again.I'm trying to think if there's a better take-away for Indian and Bangladeshi food in the area... nope, there isn't, and now I'll return to the Sabara as the regular I used to be.

Having enjoyed many Indian takeaways in Medway - good and bad I am used to Indian food. This Takeaway is Tankerton Tandoori and the food was truly excellent, they delivered well within given time, the food was piping hot, freshly cooked and tasted wonderful. I Started with Chicken Pakora, main was Chicken with variuos sides i.e Motor Ponia, Mushion Bhaji, Onoin Bhaji and the regular other niceties. I really couldn't fault any of it. 10/10. Well done you guys, I'll be back for sure.
