We are a family ran, traditionally Greek restaurant at the heart of a busy North East town. Having grown up in Athens, The brothers have brought their culture and culinary skills to Middlesbrough with a well situated and welcoming restaurant. A key featur
Went on a Saturday evening, the restaurant was quiet and I understood why when the food came. Meat grill all tough except for chicken, vegetarian choice poor, had to option of making veggie starter made larger and not worth doubling price for! Olives salty, pitted straight out of brine, what a shame as Iâd looked at previous reviews that were good.

This is the downstairs bar restaurant as opposed to Tomahawk , the steak restaurant upstairs. The Lotus Lounge is once again called âHideâ so a reincarnation of a previously good eatery. On this occasion the place did not really live up to its previous reputation. A popular bar which gets very noisy later on as the average age drops! The food is unsensational akin to Wetherspoons but not better. Not a place to celebrate a special personal event but probably okay for large work groups of younger adults

The original Lebanese Dining Experience in Middlesborough
Nice environment, different from the typical places you go to, pleasant staff, timely serving of food and reasonably priced.Starters were served within fifteen minutes and the main's followed just over ten minutes after. The mixed grille was a fair size but far too dry and slightly overcooked. The accompanying salad was not at all appetising and if anything added to through dryness.Upon sitting down we noticed that our dishes were somewhat grimy but got them changed without a fuss.At the end of our meal when asking for the bill we were overcharged. However that was promptly corrected by the staff. All in all a nicer experience than most local places and a pleasant change from the norm.

Lost Property Restaurant and Bar is a hidden venue lurking behind Joe Maxi's Taxi Office on Yarm High Street. We have a menu of steaks, seafood and unrivalled sharing boards that are made up of a fine blend of classic and new world cuts of meat. Add to th
Had heard a lot of good things about this place so we decided to give it a go. Itâs a small place, smells of damp and we were shoved on a table at the back on the most uncomfortable benches which were half a foot higher than the chairs on the other side of the table. It was comical. Ordered the seafood combo (£25) and Iâm pretty sure I could have got the same from Iceland and heated it in the oven. Breaded squid (soggy), three prawns and a couple of tiny scallops (they werenât King as described on the menu). Kiev mac and cheese was greasy and flavourless and the coleslaw was just as drab. It wasnât awful food, but for £25 you expect a lot more for your money. I also tried a homemade âlime and basil ginâ and it tasted of soapy dishwater. Wonât be coming back which is a shame.
