We had an evening meal & breakfast whilst staying at the Travelodge next door. The staff were very welcoming and friendly and were rushed of their feet. The evening meal was decent except there was bread and cutlery left on the floor and nobody interested in picking it up ? The breakfast could have been better with more choice of cereals (no muesli,Porridge,Granola) and I thought was a bit over priced at £9.99. The Ham Farm pub opposite where you can have a drink could do with refurbishment with the chairs stained and tables very sticky with no beer mats provided.

We found Poppins online while staying in Eastleigh, and decided to have breakfast. It is welcoming and cheerful inside, with different sections if you prefer sofas over chairs. The menu was extensive, offering what looked like solid, sensible, meals for a variety of tastes. Our choice fell on the "Late Breakfast" - two rashers of bacon, mushrooms, half a tomato and a fried egg on a slice of fried toast - with hash browns and black pudding added as extras. I had a hot chocolate and my boyfriend had cappucino. The food was delivered quickly, and was delicious. Thick rashers of bacon, hash browns crispy without being overdone, eggs just nicely runny, black pudding slices with good texture and flavour. My hot chocolate was excellent, and I was assured the cappucino was just as good!Everything looked to be spotless and well-maintained, and the staff were all pleasant and friendly. I would definitely come back!

Superb comfortable surroundings Excellent food. Excellent portion size. Good size meal.Booked so table service. Chris the blond guy who served us. Friendly helpful. Superb customer service skills. All 4 of us felt very welcome and looked after. Have eaten hear on many occasions always excellentOnly negative. No coffee available.I always want a coffee after eating out. A coffee machine would do this task for so many.
