Walking is a way of life in the picturesque Cornwall town of Padstow. The South West Coast Path—which, at 630 miles, is Britain’s longest footpath—stretches along the coast and, via ferry, across the River Carmel. The former fishing port is today a hub of fine wining and dining. Enjoyed several dishes, each were excellent, my favourite being the red mullet. So many layers of flavour and to think this is all achieved in such a tiny kitchen!

Did you know? Despite not being an Indian restaurant, The Journeyman was recently shortlisted at the British Curry Awards and voted in The Independent Newspaper's survey of the top 50 restaurants to eat curry in the UK! Our location on the historic Saint'
Really looked forward to visiting here but was a bit disappointed as the food was average, the service was excellent and the waitress friendly and observant to checking our needs for wine, extras etc. Very clean, didn't like the lights directly over the tables. Scruffy car park and gravelly walk along lane to the entrance with quite a few steps to the door.
Wow what a find! Great food, great service and good value for money. Seating outside and in a marquee, blankets provided- great touch! Well done Craftworks! We had eaten at a restaurant nearby a few days earlier which was disastrous, triple the price of Craftworks and Craftworks was a much better experience!Would recommend booking in advance.

Staff friendly, quick service. We ordered takeaway. Three curries (Chicken Massaman, chicken Penang and Thai red curry. They all looked exactly the same and tasted very similar. They were also very watery (more like a soup consistency) they didnât have any vegetables in the Massaman or the Penang at all, just chicken and sauce. Overall, ok experience. 5/10. Hi Kerry1290, thankyou for your review.I have spoken to our chef Ying, she told me that the red curry has carrots, chillies and basil. The massaman curry has potatoes and peanuts. And the penang has basil and whichever protein you choose. Our curries are listed on the menu as the flavour description as well as the heat level.I am sorry you were disappointed in your meals. We do need customers to specify if they would like any vegetables included if a vegetable dish is not ordered- many of our customers do. The coconut milk we use is very watery, and would take a lot of simmering to reduce down to a thick sauce if required, but our standard curry sauces are of a thin consistency. We apologise if this was not to your expectations.

We are a Chinese takeaway, customers can walk into the shop to order or ring us to order. Hot food can be collected or delivered to your home address, we recommend customers come and collect the food because it's much quicker than delivery, also all food
Holidaying at StMerryn Holiday Park and decided to try this place, it was very busy and waited about 15 minutes for the 4 meals ordered which was good. I had a hot chicken curry with fried rice and the curry sauce was dark and delicious, the chips were nice and crispy too. The staff were friendly and the prices reasonable. Not sure if I will be back to StMerryn but if I do I will definitely return.
