Can honestly say it is one of the worse take aways I have ever experienced!!Ordered on-line where it says delivery will be 40-60 minutes, an hour passes and no food, called the restaurant to be told itâs in its way.20 minutes later still no food, called again and was told itâs at the corner of your road, eventually, 90 minutes later the food arrives, lukewarm, greasy, flavourless and quite frankly it seemed as if the salt and pepper chicken wings and smoked shredded chicken (if u can call it that) had been previously cooked and refried!!It was a total waste of £55, it was that bad we ended up going to kfc, not happy!!!Dear Della,Thank you for the review, please accept our sincerely apologies for your unpleasant take away experience with us. Having been a member of Reynolds Retreat and Country Club for a while, we had our first visit to their restaurant this evening. I have to say that everything was absolutely perfect, starting with drinks on the terrace overlooking the garden followed by the (free) canapés that were served then we were given a choice of home made rolls. The first courses were small but imaginatively served with flavour bursting out. My husband had goats' cheese which was frozen and came out smoking from the liquid nitrogen, which was impressive). The mains were larger but equally delicious. The ethos of health and wellbeing of the Club was followed but not to the detriment of the food. The restaurant staff were very friendly and professional. Highly recommended.
