Described in The Sunday Telegraph as 'The Best Beach Café in the World', Billy's on The Beach is a fully licensed beach cafe with fantastic views, just along the beach from East Wittering with good parking, great staff, and tasty beachside food. Everythin

Nestling on the banks of Pagham Harbour Nature Reserve the 350 year old Crab & Lobster has been renovated creating one of the most stunning hideaways on the South Coast. The restaurant successfully combines excellent service and presentation, stylish déco
Canât thank the staff enough, excellent service, great food. Not to be confused with the Crab & Lobster in Thirsk, North Yorkshire, which I mistakenly booked for my wife and Iâs 2nd anniversary. Thankfully the staff found the funny side, and despite it being a Sunday night on an August bank holiday weekend they were able to accommodate us despite being fully booked!Saving the day is an understatement, and my blushes.Canât recommend highly enough.

Our passion for local produce at the Crown and Anchor is at the heart of everything that we do. In order to bring you the freshest possible seafood, we write a daily menu dictated by what our local boats have landed that morning. Whether it be Dover Sole,
We first dropped in at lunchtime during the summer and was so excited to see the menu and the chefs in the kitchen, we had to book a table to sample it for ourselves. So it was with anticipation that we arrived last week to be given a great table overlooking the estuary - Fab! We ordered the scallop starter at a cost of £9 per person, and received two scallops with some sapphire - a bit expensive? The main was a spiced monkfish tail (small and not very spiced) which didnât include any sides - there was no complimentary bread and the service was lacking....the wine was lovely but the overall cost for lunch was I think not worth it! The setting is amazing, the food is lacking, the service is wanting and my view is that sadly overall it is not good value for money and we wonât be returning. Thanks for your recent visit and your feedback. I will discuss all the points you raise with our kitchen team and Head Chef. Fortunately such feedback about our food is quite rare, so it is a shame you've left with the opinion that you won't return, but we appreciate your comments and your visit.

We used an internet search to find a fish and chip shop for the family. It took us to the 'number one' place to go. We weren't impressed with the number one place to go (mentioning no names) so searched again and found Andy's Fish Bar in St. Pancras, Chichester. Amazing choice! It's so clean in there. For the fish eaters in our family the fish was FRESHLY cooked - it wasn't sitting around in a display cabinet. They have an extensive vegetarian and alternative foods section too including wraps and things with Halloumi. Really tasty food, freshly prepared. We will be back for sure. ps: The locals in there all rave about the place and have been clients for many years. Beats my local fish n chip shops hands down. Definitely visit here if you are in Chichester. (Also managed to park outside in the evening which was a bonus).
