Find out what Pub restaurants to try in Manchester. Famed for its soccer team and music scene, which has produced the likes of the Smiths and Oasis, this center for sports and the arts is a down-to-earth and friendly city. The so-called Capital of the North has overcome industrial decline, bombing (in WWII and by the IRA) to become a confident and cosmopolitan city of well over two million. It is well served by a bus and light rail network. Top attractions include the Lowry art complex, arcade Affleck's Palace and Canal Street gay village.

It's more than the sloping floors, more than the dreamy tile, more than the friendly staff and charming interior. It's the vibe that cannot be replaced or replicated. I hope it never changes.Hi Chelsea,Thanks for your great review, it makes us smile.

This bar and restaurant has such a great atmosphere and we always enjoy our visits there. They do a good range of different beers and the staff are very friendly indeed.Weâve never eaten there but the food always looks really good and seems very popular. On this occasion, we wanted to go upstairs to use the terrace but the opening time kept getting put back! Not that that mattered as we had a great time downstairs and will return soon.

Having visited many establishments in the city I have never had the need to write a review, but please do not put yourself through the traumatic experience I and my husband had at this pub.

A truely fantastic pub. With all the features and delight of a country retreat yet ideally situated only 2 minutes drive from Manchester Airport. Boasting one of the finest views around for aviation enthusiasts this pub appeals to all. Enjoy a pint of Rob
We used to come here often as the welcome was as good as food, however when Karen the landlady had to leave because of ill health the people who took over from her couldnât seem to care less, as per my review May last year. However having checked out the menu recently I thought maybe someone new had taken over and when I asked our lovely waitress, Rhea, she confirmed it had, around 7 months ago. The service was excellent and so was the food mainly. The only reason itâs a 4 star not 5 is because the corn and skinny fries accompanying my ribs were not very hot. I was asked if everything was alright with the food and I said yes, as although they werenât as hot as Iâd like, I didnât want to send them back because then everyone else has finished eating when yours come back and you eat alone.I did mention it to Rhea in a nice way when she took the plate away and she apologised, it wasnât a massive issue but if you donât mention it to the staff how can they put it right the next time.We will go again as that small issue aside, we enjoyed our vist.Hi,Thank you for taking the time to leave your review. I'm glad your faith in The Tatton Arms has been restored! You're quite right in thinking we have new management, since early this year. Apologies for the temperature of the fries and corn however thank you for letting us know. As you say again we can only be aware of faults like this if the customers bring it to our attention. We hope you will once more feel comfortable to frequent The Tatton!Kind Regards,Sarah
