11 of us for dinner to celebrate a colleague leaving work. The restaurant was busy but the staff were completely overwhelmed and couldn't cope with orders. It looked nearly 1 hour for them to take our order and when the food was served several of our party had to wait even longer. The staff tried to deliver food we hadnt ordered and it also appeared on the bill, along with a service charge which we didn't pay. At no time during the 3 hours that we were in the restaurant did anyone apologise for the delays or explain why things were taking so long. Not great at all.

We visited Friday evening all tables inside were used, we would have loved to sit outside which looked lovely but it wasnât warm enough but there are patio heaters. The lady serving us was very efficient and friendly, the pizzas are first class and I look forward to returning. I read that it is open Early July till late summer, so may need to try their Heybridge restaurant next time.Dear w6jed,Thank you for taking the time to review your experience with us, I m happy to hear you enjoyed your evening. We decided to try this place out with the kids and instantly fell in love with the lovely atmosphere, friendly staff and the fact that nothing is too much to ask for, we pretty much made up our own pizzas which is handy when the little ones like to choose themselves! We found it to be reasonably priced particularly as they had their weekday offers on and we will defo be regulars :)

Excellent take-away!! Both the shish kebabs(chicken/lamb)and the doners, are really good, served with crisp fresh salad. Their chilli sauce does not only have heat but also flavour. Their chips are good too. Service is efficient and cheerful. A regular haunt of ours.Highly recommended!!
