Myself and my partner had a few days away in Davenham and we were recommended to go here. Iâm so glad we did. The food was beautiful. Staff were great also. Lovely settings. Even the staircase and toilets were beautiful lolI was stuffed after my main meal but when I asked what flavour was the cheesecake out of curiosity, I was told, liquorice! I had to ask again as I thought Iâd heard wrong. It sounded so disgusting I just had to try it. OMG! It was amazing. I would travel back there from Blackpool just for another slice. You must try it.

Disappointing evening staff are so very lovely just not enough of them and perhaps some training issues It was very busy however it does not excuse vegan meals being served with cheese on twice, starter then main Mushroom risotto had very charred mushrooms in spoiling taste White wine warm and served In warm glass straight from dishwasher and red wine served in brandy glass ( warm again ) as run out of glasses Very long waits for service even ran out of time for dessert/ coffeeA shame as I visit here alot on account of it being local, pleasant atmosphere and lovely staff but won't recommend to friends again

Harry met Harry.........our grandson is also called Harry, he got extra chips for a treat lol.....Harry is a lovely, chatty man and deserves all the business he can get...it's worth going to pay a visit just to meet such a nice man,Thank you for your kind words. We were early but it was 5.30pm Friday. Tables were not ready upstairs so we were sat downstairs. The drinks arrived quickly. Service was friendly and attentive. The food was nice but we had hoped for better as suggested by the price. The fish soup starter was amazing though. It felt very average without atmosphere and functional eating.
