At the end of the summer season, the weather has definitely taken a turn towards autumn and the rain is becoming more frequent.Donât get me wrong, there are a lot of good fish restaurants in Brixham, but, this Italian restaurant was a welcome change.Well cooked food with great flavours, lovely staff, It ticked every box! Tucked a few minutes away from the harbour, the food and service is second to none. We were so glad to have found it. All cooked to perfection with meat, veggie and vegan dishes. Great atmosphere, suitable for families, couples and singles alike. Cannot recommend highly enough.

This is an unassuming, relaxing, well finished restaurant setting in an otherwise somewhat "eclectic" setting. Essentially the restaurant dining room is in what was the lounge area of The Old Coaching House Inn. I believe the restaurant is being run independently of the remainder of the establishment and it has a lovely welcoming feel when you arrive, with a lovely log burner blazing away on a horrible wet, windy midweek afternoon. The menu has some really lovely choices and we were spoilt for choice. They are presented as small sharing plates but the portion sizes are really good as far as we were concerned. Between us we had the heritage beetroot with goats curd, which was the star of the meal for me, belly pork and mushrooms with sweet potato. We also had a side of chips with truffle oil and parmesan, which we really did not need but were fantastic! Too satisfied to indulge in a desert, the meal was very reasonably priced and service from Jess was attentive and efficient whilst allowing us to feel relaxed. This place really deserves to do well and I sincerely hope they do. Search it out, you won't be disappointed!
