Portland is 5 miles (8 km) south of the resort of Weymouth, forming the southernmost point of the county of Dorset, England. A barrier beach called Chesil Beach joins it to the mainland. The A354 road passes down the Portland end of the beach and then over the Fleet Lagoon by bridge to the mainland. Portland and Weymouth together form the borough of Weymouth and Portland. The population of Portland is 12,400.

The best burgers weâve ever had. My partner is a picky sort but even he couldnât do anything other than admit he thoroughly enjoyed it. The burgers contain lots of locally sourced meat seasoned to perfection and cooked beautifully. Not to mention the chips (which Iâm sure were freshly cut om site from potatoes), flavoured with a smoked paprika spice mix. Had a fantastico night here on a Tuesday.... They do 5 different steak meals buy a second for £1, so for 6 hungry golfers a cracking deal, and you get to cook the meal yourself with hot stones.... Fantastic value, can't speak highly enough... Need to book to guarentee a table... Staff v good, and a top selection of beers.... Great night...

I still find it extremely hard to believe how affordable the food options are for such high quality food, beautifully presented in an attractively modern restaurant site on a gorgeous location by Chesil Beach. Breeze Bar & Grill is situated on the highly reputable 5-star holiday park Chesil Vista Holiday Park which is part of the Waterside Group Ltd and while the parks facilities are exclusive to guests on park, the restaurant is open to visitors. If you are looking for a little known foodie heaven, this is it!Everything is the highest quality from and exhumes relaxation and peace of mind from entering the restaurant to ordering, eating and paying the bill. There is no table service so you are free to pick your favourite location whether it be within the fantastically decorated restaurant itself or outside with a raised decking benefiting from stunning views across Chesil Beach's Oyster Lagoon and towards Portland.It is clear from first glance that the menu has had a huge amount of consideration to provide perfect choices in delicious cuisine for everyone and every dish (yes, I have tried almost everything on the menu!) is packed full of flavour with impeccable attention to detail. The kitchen is stocked with food from local suppliers and cooked fresh so it takes a little bit longer than the quick microwave job most restaurants consider as cooking resulting in the 5-10 minutes extra being more than worth the wait.The staff are super friendly and helpful and always looking to put special attention to quality of service leaving you with the desire to come back again and again.... and again and again and again!My only advice is to try it yourself, I am certain you will be impressed and be left wanting to leave an excellent review as has everybody so far. The restaurant has only been open since March 2019, how is it so good?!

Had a small chicken Donna on Easter Friday , which consisted of fresh chicken with lots of crisp salad and a nice and warm pitta bread .. the chicken had a lovely taste and was very succulent, would recommend xx
