We were visiting relatives invthe area and they recommended eating at this country pub.Situated in the picturesque village of Nettleham, on one level this is the quintessential Lincolnshire country pub. However, what made it unique was the extensive Greek menu. Everything sounded delicious and our party chose a good variety of dishes. Everything was spot on and the helpings were extremely generous.I am no expert on Greek food but I understand the chef/owner is Greek so I assume the dishes were authentic. Either way it was and excellent experience that I would heartily recommend to anyone.

Had sunday lunch and very very impressed. Both quality and quantity could not be questioned. Friendly staff, not keen on the Tvs being on in background but that is a personal observation. Wasn't very busy but it is gaining a good reputation locally and better than most other in and around Lincoln.

Came here as we needed to eat at a restaurant with accessible parking. In that respect it did not disappoint. We went for the carvery and the chef recommended beef. He was right to recommend it - it was melt in the mouth and really tasty. Unfortunately, at 6.30pm the vegetables had all dried out. Broccoli had gone brown, cabbage was soggy, cauliflower had seen better days, Yorkshire pudding was tough, parsnips all dried out, carrots going black so only the roast potatoes seemed to have bern replaced since lunch time. I really hate writing all this because the staff were so friendly and helpful and donât deserve negative comments. However, I can only say that the meat alone was edible. We had dessert - cheesecake for me and a chocolate brownie for the partner. Both delicious. Perhaps if we are this way again we should give it another try and make it lunch next time. Such a shame as the staff were lovely.

Having done a fair bit of walking we were starting to get hungry. We didnât want to do the usual chain type restaurants and werenât ready to walk back up Steep Hill towards the more atmospheric cafes, restaurants and bars. We popped in, the place was heaving, but the staff quickly found us a table. There is a good bar with lots of different ales. My fellow guests ordered one of the burgers, a veggi stack (with very hot chilli jam), the sweet potato and lentil curry and I had the smoked haddock and sweet potato hash. We all thoroughly enjoyed the food, but I must say, my lunch was genuinely outstanding. I will definitely try making this at home! Staff were attentive and efficient.
