We visited for the first time a week ago and were enthralled by the small, intimate cornucopia of our surroundings. Bianca and Massimo took the time to explain the menu for the evening, using fresh, organic ingredients. We recently ate dinner at Gather for the first time. What delightful staff; enthusuastic young people who could tell me all about the food on my plate, even which river my trout had been swimming in! An imaginative menu, making use of locally sourced foods - even squirrel (grey variety). Well done!

It's top quality at a very good price and the atmosphere is good too.I particularly like the fact that, when we ask for an Americano, we're asked ' you don't want milk with that, do you?'!thank you for your lovely review. Scrubbed wooden floors, mismatched tables and chairs, two bars, great beer choices and in a lovely old building with a good view for people watching. We were there for the Sea Change Festival and this place was heaving. It'll be interesting to visit at another time but suspect this place is always pretty good and fairly busy. Deservedly so.
