Visited while in the area for our sonâs Graduation. Nice menu selection, good variety , well priced . Pleasant surroundings, but it is the staff that are the real stars. Pleasant, courteous and very polite. Thank you for a very pleasant experience.

Renown locally for a comprehensive selection of carefully prepared Vegetarian, Fish and Meat dishes. Cooked to order using only fresh, quality produce sourced locally whenever possible, giving the menus a truly "Modern British" character.
Visited for lunch. Very good menu choice, all 4 meals were good and service pleasant. However over 40 minutes for food to arrive at lunchtime would put me off going there again. Restaurant was not busy, only 3 people there when we arrived. A shame as we all enjoyed the food Thank you for your review and comments. I am always pleased to hear the service from the staff is pleasant and welcoming, however your comment about waiting time for food has me concerned. If I recall your visit, the meals your table chose were those that required them to be baked in the oven. This would be the case for our 'Shepherds Pie' and 'Chicken Breast' dishes. I must stress this to be the case for your visit and I am sorry it appears that when I mentioned this, it was not taken as fact. All of our dishes are freshly cooked to order. In our next reprint of Lunch Menus, we will add a small line of text under dishes that may take longer to serve due to cooking times. This could allow hungry guests to perhaps order something from the starter section during the wait. As your supporting comment states that your food was very good, we do not want any visitors to feel they are waiting unnecessarily for a fresh and tasty meal. Another option we do offer is to pre-order any of our meals to be served at a time of your choosing.Thank you for visiting The Old Orleton Inn and we do hope you return to us in the near future.

We were at this restaurant with four other families for a Motherâs Day treat - for our wives. Like always we were never disappointed with the quality of food, and you donât have to break a bank. Our friends were happy with our choice because my family suggested here. We were glad we did because it was fun time for the ladies, and the kids.

A fabulous Fathers day breakfast. Good breakfast selection, the eggs Benedict the best Iâve eaten. Pancakes with maple syrup and bacon, Welsh rarebit, smoked salmon with avocado, all freshly prepared. Friendly efficient service from the staff and doggie friendly too. Well worth a visit.
