Was recommended this place and what a hidden gem!This place specialises in Chinese, Thai and Malaysian cuisine, clearly authentic and homemade. Not your average Chinese restaurant that tries to reproduce other dishes to extend the menu. This place is seriously good!Weâve visited three times in total and every time the food is grade A. The Malaysian lamb on the chefs recommendations was to die for. The staff are lovely and very attentive, especially the manager (possibly owner) who makes you feel more then welcome. Overall the Cherry house is a place to definitely try. You leave with a smile on your face!!!

First visit to this restaurant booked 1/2 an hour before we visited and Iâve got to say the food was fabulous much better than the other Chinese weâve tried in Ormskirk. Shared starters and king prawn and pork main course with fried rice and noodles x all delicious x Food reasonably priced x will definitely revisit and go for take away

The food came much earlier than agreed over the phone and the soup was gluey and tasteless. The spare ribs were drowned in insipid gravy and the main course was .....well disgusting! Such a shame as Wans was the best Chinese takeaway in Ormskirk !

I have been coming here for years and i love it! the staff are brilliant, super fast and will help you if you have any questions. the food is great and reasonably priced. Fish is always fresh and huge!! chinese is brill too. will always come to county fish bar!
