Foodshion Garden is a fully licensed Chinese & Thai restaurant and takeaway in Market Drayton. Previously known as the New Ambrosia, we are now under a new management team since October 2017.
We ate here one Saturday evening before heading off to the theatre. We hadn't booked but they managed to squeeze us in. We were placed by the counter where they take orders for the takeaway and people collect from there. This isn't the best table in the house because of that but they were up front about it. The food choice is extensive and was delicious. Would definitely recommend for the great choice of food on the menu.

Great service, a banquet for four that could have fed eight Excellent flavoursLovely new fresh decorOur party went for dinner on Grand Final night after a huge lunchtime Yum Cha, the wine lader was decimated but still a great night.
Decided to have a chinese takeaway as we just moved to another property in Market Drayton and we knew that the Golden House was yards away which would be very convenient. We strolled to the takeaway and was greeted by lovely staff. We decided to try the Golden house special chow mein, the Singapore fried rice and a side dish of sweet and sour mixed balls. Food was freshly prepared in minutes and we took food back home. Food was hot and looked very presentable. My singapore was Fabulous, just the right heat with plenty of chopped meats and prawns. The girlfriend said her chow mein was lovely with plenty of meats and king prawns but she wasn't too keen on the chicken so I had that too. The mixed ball was lovely but the batter coating was a little thick and soft. We prefer the batter to be thinner and crispy. The sweet and sour sauce was lovely too. Overall the food is lovely and we would use it again but maybe try other dishes
