We had a really good meal here. We all had 2 courses and some had 3! The starters were nice. The pillows were yummyThe mains were all good. Maybe I misunderstood the menu but there were stars (which I thought were the spice level) and the 1* was must hotter than my 3*. Either way it was still yummy. My duck curry was delicious. Our pricing reflects not only the quality fresh Thai ingredients that are flown in from Thailand weekly, fresh seafood from Johnsons in Portsmouth and locally farmed meats from Owtons. But also, the fact that everything is made here in our kitchen by my wifes hands. The prawn cakes, half moons, vegetable spring rolls, seafood spring rolls, golden pillows, satay sauce etc cannot be bought in any shops and are unique to our restaurant. We toast our own peanuts, slice and fry our shallots and grind our own pastes for the curries. You can buy all of these pre prepared but they lack the intensity of flavour that you get when its freshly done. These things combined though make all of our dishes "Yummy" :)

Booked the restaurant for a group of 10, which is pretty much the whole room. We decided that ordering individually was too difficult so asked for 10 mains, rice and nans, and a few veg dishes. All the food was delicious, spicy, tasty, amazingly fresh and we were all extremely happy! £15 a head - great value and a superb meal.

My fiancé took me for a fantastic Indian meal. Friendly staff, excellent service & food superb and one of the best Indian meals in the area. Definitely worth going to.

We havenât had any food from here for a couple of years but decided to try it again at the weekend for a change and wished we hadnât! The texture of the chicken was strange it was soft almost like it was pumped with water and had a slimy outer coating, the beef was similar but not as badâ¦.not pleasant at all. The âsauceâ for the chicken satay on skewers seemed to be just some yoghurt mixed with chilli that was sticky and not like a sauce at all and didnât taste of peanut and wasnât appetising. Again the chicken was a funny texture.The thai green curry wasnât very spicy and didnât taste great, the sweet and sour chicken Hong Kong style was bland. The boiled rice had a burnt patch on the top which is unacceptable, who in their right mind would send something out like that!!We threw most of it away and wonât be returning ever again.
