Historically in Cheshire, it is on the Wirral Peninsula, along the west bank of the River Mersey, opposite the city of Liverpool. The Birkenhead Urban Area defined as the contiguous built-up area along the eastern side of the Wirral had a total population of 325,264 in the 2011 Census. Was a pleasant evening till a very loud group sat down next to us. To make it worse, when we ordered the chocolate fondant we were told it was finished for the day. Reason transpired the group next to us had pre-ordered this dessert. On balance, no reason to return till they improve on these issues.Thank you for taking the time to write a review. I apologise that the guests who arrived at Puffin' Rooms were a little rowdy. We popped in for a quick wine and beer before going elsewhere for a meal. It was fairly quiet, but a lovely atmosphere, with background music which was just that! Excellent service and chat with the waiter ...sorry ... I forgot to ask his name. We will definitely be visiting again soon ... hopefully for lunch/evening meal/wine tasting...and I do mean all 3!

Visited Tusk for my friends birthday celebrations. What can I say....... absolutely brilliant. The food was delicious, cocktails flowing, service A1, the staff were attentive, nothing was too much trouble, they ensured we had a fabulous night. The atmosphere and ambience was perfect. Massive thank you to Andrea and the team for making our celebrations so special. Xx
