Find out what Street Food restaurants to try in Hebden Bridge. This pleasingly peculiar market town is rife with old mills and flapjack-like "upstairs-downstairs" houses. Annual festivals, theatrical productions and parades pump the locals (and tourists) with life. Don’t miss the Hardcastle Crags or hiking along the gorgeous Pennine Way, and be sure to have a stroll along the inspirational Rochdale Canal.

In a time where we have the world’s cuisine on our high street along comes something different. It is a very friendly, (and dog friendly) cafe. You sit on Tibetan carpets lying on the bench seats. The food is fresh and similar but different to other Asian food. Both veg and non-veg dishes. Delicious food. We’ll be back.

Vegan review: Came here on a Friday teatime! It was hot and sunny outside, but cool and dark inside - it’s based downstairs. The other 3 are omnivores and seemed happy with the vegetarian options but found the vegan options to be less tasty. To drink I had mango juice (bottled). I ordered garlic bread which was lovely. I had the coconut, chickpea and sweet potato curry with saffron rice. It was quite bland. I kept adding salt and pepper for extra flavour. For dessert I had the vegan chocolate fudge cake with cream and ice cream, it was pretty good and a big portion which I love! The service was great, the clientele were nice too. As it’s dog friendly, they brought theirs with them! I would come back again, but probably not during daylight hours.
