We booked fo 10 of us and arrived a little early for our table. We were still warmly welcomed. The food was stunning, especially the gammon steak. Enjoyed by the adults and children. Local small country pub with absolutely excellent HOME COOKED and freshly prepared food and atmostphere.It has been owned by the couple who run it for about 20 years..I have been for Sunday lunch before and an occasional evening meal any it is ALWAYS excellent so I arranged to have my 70th birthday meal there last week.16 of us from far and wide were treated to fantastic food and service and nobody was disappointed.It is excellent value for money and well worth a visit.I don't think you will be disappointed.

When I first went here a year ago my mouth was overwhelmed from the steak and it's taste. However since then everytime has further disappointed my family and I. There was the rude waitress speaking to my parents as if they were children and didn't speak English. Then further times we've had to return food because it was too chewy and overcooked. The last time we went (and will be the last time) I almost felt like the food was from a slightly uperclass wetherspoons. Not worth the prices anymore. Cant say I will come again. Good afternoon,Unfortunately we are unable to pinpoint the exact date of your visit to our restaurant and as such we find it difficult to amend any issues mentioned in your review.In the future we would invite you to bring up any issues with a member of staff on the day who can always refer you to a manager so that we may resolve the problem.Kind regards.
