Sushi and Sashimi Bar in Birmingham
A lovely dinner here, inc miso, seaweed salad, nigiri, sashimi, hand roll, hosomaki roll etc. Every single piece was created with passion and precision by the lovely chef/owner and delivered with great care and attentiveness by the friendly waiter. (They have known each other for 11 years apparently, and it shows!) The setting was perfect, with minimalist decor and low level music, very relaxing. We loved our meal (my partner has eaten at Sukiyabashi Jiro in Tokyo, so heâs a tough crowd! ) and really hope this neighbourhood restaurant continues to get the support it deserves. Thanks guys!

A quaint cafe style restaurant serving freshly cooked home style oriental food. The waiter was very helpful and friendly. It has a 5* hygiene rating and no msg is used.Take your own drinks. We will definitely be returning to try more dishes on the menu. Seemed to have lots of regular customers which is the best recommendation.

We came for a pretty late dinner and had an amazing time!We were seated in the bar area, offered drinks, and ordered before being taken to our table with a couple of other guests. We were seated far enough apart to have our own space, but also close enough to talk amongst ourselves if we wished. I initially thought that you only got the food made at the table if you'd booked or paid extra as there was a birthday party at the only table with a chef, but I was quickly proven wrong (and incredibly excited) when our chef came up to the table! The chef put on a fantastic show, and being able to watch and smell the food being cooked was amazing. We had teriyaki steak, ebi tempura, asparagus, fried rice, and sticky rice. The tempura and sticky rice were brought out around the same time the fried rice was finished, then the side dishes were cooked (asparagus etc), and then all the meat. The timing between dishes was perfect, and they all tasted incredible! My only complaint is that the toilets were a bit grim. One was almost overflowing with unflushed waste.... but we did get there really late, there were a lot of guests, and the staff probably didn't have the time to properly deal with the horrific mess that was left for them to deal with. So I don't really blame the restaurant for that.I highly recommend this restaurant to everyone. I genuinely can't wait to come back!ãã¡ãããã¾ã§ãã!
