I recently went with my family for an early (5.30pm) dinner. As a result, there were only a few others in the restaurant. The food choice was good, the food itself also pretty good (especially the ribs). I thought the pricing was reasonable. The service initially was very good (our waitress was Amaia) but then she apparently had to do something else, so what I assumed was the manager took over. It then went downhill fast. Long waits, forgotten menu's, etc. So overall I would go again and recommend, but be prepared for the hit & miss service.Mphilm, we really appreciate your feedback and bringing this matter to our attention. We would love the opportunity to discuss this with you further. Please give us a call on 01509 80 80 10 at your earliest convenience

Fenways is the Orange tree groupâs most recent venture, and their eighth site. Taking inspiration from some of Londonâs most popular street food concepts, and launching on the back of their successful pop up restaurant âThe Smokehouseâ in Leicester, Lough
The girl who had dreams of her favourite burger returning to Fenways after many years finally got her wish when they put it back on the menu... unfortunately itâs been ruined and my dreams are shattered. The âClassic homemade blue cheese fritterâ was technically 90% potato and 10% blue cheese. What happened to the blue cheese patty that oozed cheese all over my plate? The service was also extremely rubbish as we had to wait 10 minutes to be approached for a drinks order and I had to go to the bar to pay afterwards as there was no one to be seen.Iâm sorry to say I wonât be returning again. Your heartbroken âThe Blues Burgerâ fan. Hi, Whilst your writing is entertaining in many ways ,I am sorry to hear that your "Blues Burger" was not how you remember it. We rarely have complaints about our delicious food. And over time we do change recipes. There is NO potato in the patty, Its 90 % Stilton with some butter, milk and flour..Also regarding your wait, what day and time did you eat with us ? As evenings and weekends we are very busy and any busy restaurant that offers table service have some small delays at times, which on entry or being seated by us you would have been advised of. If you seated yourselves you could have been overlooked. As the manager my priority is to maintain excellent customer service at all times. Happily this business is suddenly experiencing a huge surge in trade and It has been difficult to judge when to have additional floor staff. In the short 6 weeks of being hired here, as I've have had to hire and train new team members. This all takes time and at present training is ongoing, We don't always get it 100% right. With regards to payment at the till point, we have 2 card machines and where possible we do take payments at the table.I can only apologies for this with sincerity and ask did you complain at the time ? As all complaints are monitored and we try to resolve them as quickly as possible during service.I would be ecstatic if each service went without any hiccups or delays, but when you serve 280 people in one day a complaint here and there will happen especially if something is no longer to someones taste or expectations.Good luck with finding your perfect blues style burger, I will continue to monitor and train my team to the perfect customer service standards that I also expect. If you would like to try again I would be willing to offer you 25% as an apology for a slower service than usual.Kind RegardsMia
