What a lovely place for lunch. Worth a short drive inland from the coast. Painstakingly restored, attentive staff and knowledgeable owner. Great they also allowed our 2 dogs, water provided for them. Delicious fresh food, good gluten free menu. I wish this establishment the very best, you deserve it. If ever back this way we will be back.Hello carolyn hThank you so much for coming to have lunch with us. Your recommendation that people take the drive inland to us was very much appreciated.I'm so glad you enjoyed your time with us and thank you for highlighting that our four legged furry family members are always welcome in The Parlour.....(I hope you won't mind, for the benefit of other guests, if I mention that if anyone wishes to dine in that area it's always wise to make a reservation.)I'm delighted that you enjoyed your time with us and your kind and complimentary words are very much appreciated.Thank you very much indeed for your best wishes and I do hope you will have chance to visit us again at sometime in the future.

Been in plenty of times for drinks, but I had never eaten before until now. Went for a meal as a couple towards end of September, it was a pleasant and relaxed atmosphere as always. The service was excellent, the young girl Ellie was polite and friendly, took care of us nicely. The meal itself was tasty and plentiful, couldn't fault it, my partner very much enjoyed the cocktails afterwards too, she would highly recommend.Won't leave it so long until eating here again.

Family run dining pub situated on the A170 between Pickering and Scarborough. Our bar offers a great selection of cask ales, lagers, wines and spirits. We welcome well behaved dogs (although dog friendly tables are quite limited) Our Chefs provide regular
Booked for 5 people this evening as we had been going to visit for some timeOur last visit 12 months ago had not been good and we wanted to give it another try Menu choice was reasonable and we had fish cakes (delightful) mackerel (very good) chicken skewers ( yummy) Everyone chose the rib eye steaks and we all declared them to be perfectly cooked and incredibly tasty. Only let down was the chips - advertised as triple cooked but actually frozen chips ( always nasty) Service was good and friendly - you felt welcomeWill definitely return we all enjoyed it.
