Went down for a meal early afternoon. The place was quite empty but I put that down to the time of day and schools not out at the time. Ordered our food and drinks. Drinks arrived promptly. Food freshly cooked and my chicken parmigiana looked and tasted delicious. Staff checked whether it was okay. Nice ambiance with music playing in the background but not too loud so as you couldn't hear yourself talking.

I bought a curry plant and the gentle aroma that greeted me every time I opened the back door was too much. I rounded up family members and booked a table last Tuesday. The food at the Spice Village doesn't disappoint. When you need a 'curry fix' this is the place to be. Extensive menu, bar and great service. My brother and I shared a starter platter and we all opted for individually spiced mains. We all dipped into each other's chosen dish and that's how we like to do it. Lovely restaurant where you're not seated too close together that you're listening to other peoples conversation. Service was first class and the food is reasonably priced and delicious. Questions below that are neither yes or no - there's some parking on the main road outside or down the side streets; it's not pub food per se and I wouldn't like to insult these guys with my ignorance about their ethnicity.Thankyou for your fabulous and detailed eview. Pooped in to Route 15 for drinks and ice cream on a red hot day while shopping in Scunthorpe. The staff are very friendly and there is a good selection of ice cream flavours. Drinks were maybe a little expensive, £1.80 for a 33ml glass bottle of coke but then I guess they need to be served that way for the American look they are going for. Probably would call again if we were passing.
