Fancied a treat for the kids who had all been busy doing their homework and thought weâd try Annieâs Burger Shack that had recently won an award here in Derby. Arrived and were quickly seated by our server Sophie who looked after us this afternoon. Never visited before Sophie easily guided us through the menu answering our questions effortlessly and made us feel extremely welcome. Orders taken we took in our environment and enjoyed what the owners had done with the place converting the old Christian Science Church into the Diner / Burger Shack that gave out chilled friendly US of A vibes, definitely an appealing ambiance that felt more unique than the chains in this sector of the restaurant industry. Food was fab, all 5 meals were enjoyable by the family and a particular note was the decent sized childrenâs meals so definitely didnât worry about anyone going hungry. Service A-Star from Sophie and will be returning at a future date for sure, nice change and a welcome addition to Derbyâs food scene.

Proper hamburgers made from British beef, freshly prepared and cooked to order, served with a craft beer
First visit to Byron in the Derby Intu Centre, nice welcome, all the staff were very pleasant. The ambience of the place and food didnât really meet my expectations though. The restaurant was cool, I chose a Byron Burger with fries, the food looked nice but on tasting it wasnât warm enough for my liking. The food itself was ok but not worth £12.Sadly I wonât be revisiting as there are better restaurant/cafes in the vicinity.Hi Ian, we're sorry to hear about this, we'd like to follow up with you via email (and will share your message with the area manager for the restaurant so they can pick up with you directly). Could you put all these details into an email to [email protected] and we will investigate. Thank you.

From the arches of the Guildhall Theatre between 1864 & the late 80's to Derby Market Hall just inside of the arches from 2012-18 Derby Pyclet Parlour are carrying on Derby's Tastiest Tradition, now based in the Eagle Market with our bar and more dine in
Apparently pyclets (like a flattened out crumpet) are local cuisine for Derbyshire. They are tasty and the extras they put on the top are taste really good. Little hidden gem of a place. They use all China cups and ceramic plates. Great place to grab a quick bite for breakfast or lunchThanks Mark, our plates are china too, as a piece of Derby's History our food is made with fresh local produce, we serve it to you on Royal Crown Derby china and welcome you with Derby Hospitality. See you soon!
