Nice clean restaurant if you want a sit down meal. The fish and chips and scampi were very fresh and tasty. The curry sauce was excellent. Very reasonable prices and even cheaper if you want a takeaway.

Roovrays comes highly recommended...And a Charming and ambient evening awaits you...Tastefully decorated with a French influence due to the French Chef and owner. Great value is offered with the Early Bird menu from 6pm till 6.45pm with 2 courses being £1
You really are spoilt for quality restaurants in Mevagissy. Roovrays has a great selection on the menu, and all were beautifully cooked. Nice friendly and helpful service, good size helpings, and all tasted really fresh. We had the monkfish which we would especially recommend. We then came back another day, and the food was just as good. The place is quite small, so we would recommend you book.

What a lovely proper Cornish village Mevagissy is. Ok, a bit touristy, but hey ho we are tourists. Salamander was recommended and didnât disappoint. We had read lots of reviews & were amused by Hazelâs management responses, she doesnât take prisoners! Food was lovely service excellent & great value for money at £23 for two courses. Donât expect high end Michelin Star dining but locally sourced produce, very well cooked. Salamanderwasrecrecommended recomendered recommended

We had dinner here twice during our week at nearby accommodation. On both occasions I had the mussels starter and they were simply the largest juiciest best mussels I have ever had, and a substantial serving of them too. The staff were friendly and chatty and helpful (especially fitting us in after we abandoned the neighbouring Sams-on-the-beach). I've marked them down one notch because their main courses are too large : everybody in a party of 8 failed to finish them.

A Seafront Bistro serving the best in Modern British Cuisine from Fresh Fish, Seafood and Local Produce with a relaxed atmosphere in a quirky old Boathouse with amazing views of the Charlestown Tallships and the Bay from the large Terrace and Restaurant.
A busy saturday evening but the staff so attentive and eager to please. The whole ambiance of the restaurant is calm. The menu offers lots of choice and the specials are really tempting. The food was tasty, plentiful and looked fantastic. Charlestown has lots of restaurants to choose from but our visit to Wreckers was fantastic

An informal bistro style dining experience on the outskirts of St austell, serving amazingly fresh local fish & shell fish, meltingly tender Cornish steaks and interesting European dishes. We look forward to welcoming you...
A group of 13, mixed ages including children, plus some vegans and some vegetarians met up for an evening meal. We were not the only large group but service was excellent. The Kingswood is willing to be flexible on menu choice, understands that children canât always wait, and has a great atmosphere. All food was excellent, taste, texture and temperature. Great choice of drinks too. Service is friendly and prompt but never hurried. The only problem is that they donât have green tea available as an option. But overall, a definite 10/10.

Steakhouse and seafood restaurant located near the beautiful Charlestown harbour.
It's been just over a year since we had dinner at The Longstore on our wedding day so whilst we were passing through Charlestown we thought we'd pop back in. Same great attentive service, our French waitress was excellent. Crab and avocado salad was amazing and the hake was excellent. If you get a table by the window you do get a glimpse of the harbour and sea. Just wish the restaurant was a little closer to home!
