We met friends for lunch this week and had lovely food and great service. Consequently when we needed somewhere to take some American friends for dinner and didn't know the area, we went back.Three of us had the Sunday roasts which were lovely. Seemed strange having gravy on gammon and having a soggy Yorkshire with it but it was very nice and possibly the best pub roast I've had and the roast potatoes in goose fat were just to die for.All in all would recomnend.Thank you for your kind words and this wonderful review! I'm glad to hear you felt confident in inviting your friends from over the pond to join us on Sunday, and that it lived up to, or maybe even exceeded, your expectations. I hope you find the time to join us again in the near future when you are next in the area! Thank you once again for this great review! Take care!

The White Horse offers a warm welcome whether you are just dropping by for a drink in the bar or having lunch or dinner in the restaurant. Warm colours, solid woods, sympathetic lighting and friendly faces combine to make the perfect dining & drinking ven
We ate here on a Friday night. 7 of us ordered starters and mains. You order at the bar so fair enough I didnât expect amazing service but when you get to the bar there were 3 young lads who fancied their bucket and couldnât really be bothered to serve you. The ladies all ran round all night but even they walked past our plates that sat in front of us for over 30 mins after we had finished our meal. Large Sauvignon is over £9. So youâd expect a better service & quality when paying more for drinks. At least table service if it is not overly busy, the staff definitely had time!! Steak was very undercooked in the middle. Near blue. Pub grub & also website says CHEFS NEEDED, which is perhaps why the food wasnât great. Not sure if I would go back or not. Perhaps avoid until they have chefs??... It wouldnât be a regular haunt.

Such a wonderful time at The Farm at the weekend for our engagement party for 40 of our close friends and family! Buffet food was reasonably priced and filled everyone up!Thanks so much to the managers for organising... Only reason for 4 stars is I spent a lot of the time clearing the plates and glasses as our area was left a complete mess and we kept having to ask the staff to clear away the empties. However they were all very friendly! Thanks again, Colin & Lauren x

Tap & Tandoor, created by husband and wife team, Ajay and Shivani Kenth, specialises in craft beers, cocktails and Indian food including small plates, mixed grills and home-style curries. Located on Warwick Road, the building has undergone an extensive re
Was delighted to find this place. Great concept - craft beer and curry! The décor and ambiance are good. The menu is limited but offers a wide enough range of choices.Great choice of draught beers from around the world including a very drinkable bottled alcohol free lager.I chose lamb keema and plain rice. I was disappointed not to see pilau rice. The keema was very dry and so mildly spiced it didn't taste at all like an Indian at all. As the food was delivered, it was steaming so much, it looked like it was straight from the microwave. Not an impressive first try, but I'm willing to give it another go.

Mortons is a refreshing café, bar and restaurant in Solihull cleverly designed to incorporate relaxed drinking and dining in one light and welcoming space. You can even dine alfresco on the tree-shaded terrace - all day every day. Located at Dickens Heath
Came in yesterday morning for brunch while I did some work. Served by a lovely girl (I think her name was Millie) who was very attentive and seemed happy to be there. The food was delicious - their salmon florentines are the best. Would visit again!

We know you'll love the interior, featuring open kitchens, stone fired ovens and log burning fires, offset by beautifully landscaped gardens for alfresco dining. The menu is simple but up-to-the-minute, with lots of comfort appeal, with homely things like
Generally the standard is very good, however Sunday lunch was very disappointing. Started with soup just warm. We had roast dinners; plentiful however roast potatoes Yorkshire pudding over cooked and tasteless, usually stay for 3 courses, however due to the poor starter and main we decided to leave.

Iâve been visiting the bluebell for many years now and the recent uplift in decor has really made the place shine. The food is fantastic, like a proper Sunday roast rather than other carveries where the meat feels and tastes synthetic. You can have as little or much as you like, portions are generous. The recently got rated one of the top carveries in birmingham by Birmingham mail. Staff courteous and always helpful. They generally take bookings for 12, 2 or 4pm on Sundayâs. You can visit between these times however if a table is reserved youâll need to ensure youâre gone before then (fair is fair). Not sure what some of the other reviews are about but have heard it was to do with table reservation signs being removed by other customers which was addressed by management- as I said above fair is fair- if a table is reserved and there isnât enough time for you to eat then donât use it!
