The Globe, Leicester is a fantastic traditional pub serving 7 real ales, two ciders and a huge whisky selection as well as wines and continental lagers...We serve fresh, seasonal and locally sourced pub grub everyday including a top notch, home-made Sunda
Having spent a few night at this establishment last week I would definitely recommend this pub to everyone. The staff were friendly and helpful. Layla and Emma were very knowledgeable about the real ales, ciders and the various spirits that were available and at reasonable price as well. So my advise is give this pub a go the atmosphere is nice, cosy and friendly. The food in pub is good as well and good value for the price too. I will be recommending this to friends, family and everyone who wants a good time.

The Forge Inn - Village Pub & Dining is Passionate about Freshly Prepared, Sustainably Sourced Food, Cask Ale & Wine - We love what we do & like most businesses we are not perfect but we try hard- so if we get it wrong give us a chance to put it right! :)
We had a fantastic meal here last Saturday afternoon.Unfortunately, they ran out of pork just as I ordered but the lamb we had instead was incredible. We'll now need to go back to see if the pork is better...... not possible I'm sure. The staff were very friendly and helpful too.

Certainly not a mainstream typical Indian restaurant nor is it found in the main restaurant areas of Leicester. Nevertheless it is one that all should visit if wanting a curry! Mountains of food for what you pay, excellent recommendations from staff and always a sociable atmosphere. Food cooked perfectly with lots of flavour. I strongly recommend going as a group and make sure you book a table.

Been here a couple of times now, living litterally just around the corner it is quite convenient. Very friendly staff and traditional old style pub.Eaten on both occasions from the extensive menu the last visit we both had burgers. Lovely chips and coleslaw but the burger a little dry for my liking but personal taste. OK prices but although the wine was nice I thought a little too expensive. Will be visiting again tonight to sample the fish and chips! Hopefully be able to make the most of the outdoor garden.

After walking part of the Leicestershire Round, we were ready for a hearty meal and were not disappointed on a Saturday lunchtime. The lamb and mint pie was delicious for my friends. Unfortunately as a vegetarian allergic to peppers, I could not find a main meal and ordered the goats cheese starter. This really was delicious so no faulting the actual food. Also the young men serving us were helpful and friendly. We were late eating and so felt a bit abandoned towards the end of the meal but as we were busy chatting did not mind this! A lovely ending to our walk.Hi, Thank you for your review, we do have several vegetarian options on our menu, including currently our Mac and Cheese Dish, a Chickpea and Spinach Curry, a Halloumi Burger and on our specials a Vegan Cottage pie, so we are sorry you never saw these and hope next time you visit you can try one of these dishes, many thanks

Been here for both brunch and an evening meal. Food is lovely and always piping hot! Sometimes service can be slow at times even when there is very few people and when itâs super busy! Great atmosphere, lots of choice and a great brunch also! Crab and lamb were divine.

After a full renovation, the former Time Bar (located right next door to Leicester Train Station) is now open! The new name takes its inspiration from the building's original purpose as a sorting office and parcel yard for British rail.Come and join us in
Right next to the station at Leicester this is a coffe shop, come pub, come eatery. It looks like a small place from the front but goes back miles and there is lots of space to sit on comfortable settees

Reeceâs is located in the heart of Groby. We serve everything from breakfast to Sunday carverys. All cooked fresh and using quality ingredients.
We visited Reece's today on our way to spending some time a Bradgate Park, Leicester. We had seen all of the 5 star reviews on TripAdvisor, and wanted to see what all of the positive feedback was about. WOW! We were extremely impressed and will definitely make this our 'go to' place when in the area. We were met by Reece when we arrived, and he was an excellent host. We also had the pleasure of meeting Wendy who is the friendliest restaurant/bar person we have met to date. The atmosphere at Reece's is excellent, the food is top quality and cooked to perfection. If you are looking for a venue that is proud about the food & service they provide, without the 'airs and graces' then we recommend you visit Reece's in Groby. You will really enjoy the Full Breakfast, and 3 of us choose that, with a mix of egg orders of fried, scrambled & poached. I had the poached egg option, and they were the best cooked eggs I have had in ages. This is an excellent, honest, decent venue serving great food with top customer service. Next time we will visit after 1pm so that we can sample the homemade 'a la carte' restaurant, and will also visit on a Sunday lunchtime so that we can sample their renowned Sunday roasts & carvery. Reece & Wendy - you have hit gold providing excellent quality meals at reasonable prices, and we look forward to seeing you again very soon. Best wishes, Faz, Wendy & the girls xThank you so much for this review!! These sort of reviews make everything I do worthwhile! Iâm so pleased you and your family enjoyed your visit, and I hope to see you guys again soon!! Thank you again!
