Had some lovely days here and love the fun of the dice happy hour bar - winning a 6 on the roll of the dice got me 60 per cent off my drinks - real result! Fabulous cocktails, friendly staff and lush seating in the form of squashy leather chairs and sofas. Upstairs has fantastic views across the Solent and the food - very much of a Steak and Ranch style menu - is also great if that is your thing. The steaks are lovely and my friend braved the massive Steak deal and even he couldnt finish it. Greedy sod haha Perfect bar to chill at any time and to meet friends/watch sport

We were greeted by a very friendly and funny barman. We ordered dinner, which was delicious, and were looked after by a lovely waitress. We didnât need pudding but they were too tempting to resist! Am glad we didnât resist as they too were delicious. The landlord chatted to us and recommended a few places to visit. Overall an excellent evening. Thank you!

Came here with friends for a Cowes week meal and was impressed by the service (well done to Josh who had only recently started) and the quality of the fish and seafood. I ordered the hot seafood platter (see photo) and it was delicious. The mussels were the highlight, but all cooked really well and with respect to the quality produce.

Called here 11th July 2019 after a visit to Isle of Wight. Guy behind the bar possibly manager , landlord was welcoming and took our food and drinks order. 2 cheese , pickle sandwiches with side salad dressing and sml but tasty portion of chunky chips along with 2 beers came to around £23 (I think ) fast service too and really tasty . All in All well worth a visit and we will be back again for sure. It's a great walk from the red jet ferry along the seafront to this place and for those interested it's around 2km walk too but on a nice day it's totally worth it .

Sadly I have to say that this establishment was somewhat of an anti climax. Great setting with views across the river, nice selection of drinks.However the big let down is with the food.We both ordered the Char Grilled Locally Made Burgers. The presentation was good, fries were OK but the biggest disappointment was with the Burger - OK it may have once been Char Grilled. But our Burgers were without doubt reheated - in a microwave possible?When your paying Higher end prices you don't expect to receive Wetherspoons grade of Food.You really do need to up your Game and stop the misleading descriptions.
