We visited on my birthday earlier in the year as I love scouting out Donnington pubs. I was made to feel extremely unwelcome. Having waited patiently the best part of 5 minutes for the barmaid to cease idle chit chat with the locals at the bar, I noticed she whispered something under her breathe which was aimed in my direction. When she finally did acknowledge me, I asked if they were serving food to which she curtly replied âNoâ. As I left the bar, I heard an older couple enquire about food and I overheard the barmaid offer them a choice of sandwiches! If youâre under 50, donât expect anything less than a frosty reception and appalling manners!I am very sorry that you had this experience here. I have messaged you directly. I would like to offer you a meal. Again I am truly sorry and I have spoken to all staff members Jess

I ordered a Bloody Mary form their specialty drinks menu - it was horrible. Stick with wine or beer here. Food was average - nothing remarkable about this place.

The horse & hound is a beautiful cotswold stone building set in the delightful village of Broadway. Diners can enjoy all home cooked food served in the bar or more formal dining room with 2 log burning stoves.
3 real ales of which I sampled - HPA Wye Valley 4.0 abv being my favourite.Spent a very pleasant afternoon drinking some lovely real ale in the company of some wonderful staffYou really couldn't find a better pub in BroadwayHighly recommendedEnjoy :-)Glad you enjoyed the beer & the staff

Situated just behind the village green of Broadway this traditional 17th Century Inn, built in Cotswold stone, providing accommodation with four rooms for Midweek and Weekend breaks. Providing free WiFi service. Serving Lunch and Dinners all through the w
Thereâs only a few pubs and eateries left in England like this, so get in quick before it gets smashed aside in favour of overly modernised interior design and over hyped food. Expect fried foods, cress, pub food standards, and hearty filling awesomeness probably served with chips. Expertly done, with a cracking range of local beers, of which the patterned carpet will have absorbed gallons over the years. They donât make them like this any more.

Fantastic location, decent food, terrible/rude service. To the female employee/ manager with blonde hair and bad attitude, have you ever wondered whether working in the hospitality industry is really for you?......and to the young unhelpful rude waiter, life ainât too bad, chin up eh? Thankfully there was another member of staff who was far morefriendly. So much potential spoilt by terrible staff, had to bite my tongue on 3 or 4 occasions when dealing with them.Recommended if you like your lunch served with a healthy side order of attitude

Visited Snowshill today and we thoroughly enjoyed the visit. Even though quite small compared to a lot of National Trust property the story around the property and the owners was very interesting and the contents collected by Mr Wade were absolutely amazing and fascinating. Enjoyed a nice walk around the gardens and grounds. I will now make sure I check the internet to find out any more information regarding the property and the owners that I may have missed from the information supplied by the knowledgeable guides.

We are a rurally located pub, restaurant in the north Cotswolds, situated in the small idyllic village of Childswickham, which is just two miles outside of Broadway. We are surrounded by miles and miles of beautiful scenery and wonderful English countrysi
We had a lovely lunch in this warm and inviting restaurant. The sharing sea food platter starter was really good and plentiful. The mains of pork and salmon were served imaginatively and were very well cooked with the three meats cooked perfectly. No room for pudding which was a shame. A great place with great people and excellent, clean, warm setting. You must visit if in the area. Thanks for taking the time to leave us a review. We're pleased to see you've enjoyed your visit and found the food so enjoyable. We look forward to seeing you again to try our puddings!
