Buckle & Vaughan provides the ultimate social and dining experience; original menus and attentive service are fundamentals we pride ourselves in. Our newly opened restaurant in Winchmore Hill boasts a vibrant scheme of earthy colours, reflective of the fr
I was very impressed with this restaurant in so many ways. I thought the food was of a very good standard, the staff were extremely friendly and the setting was just right, not too formal or too casual.I opted for the a la carte menu as it had far more in the way of meal choices than the lunchtime menu which was a little limited.I had the calamari to start, and I could tell that it was cooked from fresh and not the tasteless frozen type! The veal was plentiful and my companionâs risotto was cooked to perfection. The staff were very helpful, they didnât try to rush you and even went next door to get me a cappuccino after their machine wasnât working well.!All these things make for a lovely dining experience and I would highly recommend. Plan to return very soon.

On the busy Aldermans Hill, running along the East side of Broomfield Park is a little slither of sunshine fresh from the islands of Greece Nissi Mezedakia. Inspired by not only the flavours of Greece and Cyprus but the eating style of the Mediterr

The Lebanese food here is great. We had the mezze platter to share; the lamb shank and grilled lamb cutlets as mains and both delicious and enormous. I would highly recommend the hummus and the smoky aubergine dip. Loved the beautiful interior & the DJ brought good vibes to our night.

Founded in 2015 by two Spanish sisters inspired by the love and passion of their Neapoletan Great-grandfather who opened his own pizzeria in Argentina in the 1920s. This menu is a fusion of our heritage and knowledge of Spanish and Italian cuisines. You w
We were driving pass the area and found this by chance. We had 1 pizza, 4 tapas and bread among us. Food was lovely , even the person who doesn't normally eat aubergine ate the aubergine bake.Portions were generous, were so full that we couldn't have dessert even tho it looks inviting.Staff were very friendly. The ONLY disappointment was the coffee..we like a nice cup of strong Italian coffee but that is personal preference. When we next pass that way, will definitely make sure it is a meal time so we can stop off before our destination.

Skewd Kitchen offers truly authentic Anatolian fine dining, using specialist ingredients and the most modern and inventive cooking techniques in Cockfosters. This fabulous eatery should be one of your first choices to experience the best in authentic yet modern Turkish cuisine. Skewd Kitchen is run by Executive Chef Maz Demir who won Chef of the year at the British Kebab Awards in 2017 and 2019. If I need to describe his menu, I would say it is cultivated by the cultural heritage of Anatolia. From starters; kisir salad bulgur wheat, spring onions, tomato purée, and celery mixed herbs and pomegranate molasses, delicate and tasty. From hot mezzes; Pachanga Filo pastry, filled with mixed bell peppers, Portobello mushrooms, kashar cheese, cured fine beef and parsley, on roasted red pepper sauce, beautiful textures. And Hellim, charcoal grilled Cypriot cheese with Bertha roasted plum tomatoes, we all hooked . Adana Kebab, made with vigorously seasoned, chilli-flaked hand-chopped meat enriched by the smoke that results from fat dripping onto coals snaking its way around and through. Laid tenderly on a long thin slice of lavash it is the star of our meal. What more can I say. Just go and experience the incredible food!

Greek Cypriot food using only the finest ingredients and cooked with passion & love (Meraki).
I am surprised at all the effusive reviews or perhaps I am hard to please. The food was good and the service friendly but I would like to visit again to see what I must have missed. I visited at a quiet time so there was little atmosphere but that does not bother me. What I did not like was the decor/tables/seating which is just functional, dark and not welcoming. The addition of some colour or even good quality white tablecloths would not go amiss.

We were tiring of our usual Sunday lunch haunts and literally stumbled on this restaurant which is close to where we live in Enfield. In a nutshell, absolutely fantastic and have been back a few times since. Good quality food, cooked well, served professionally and decent portions although we noticed that the seafood spaghetti dish had gone down slightly in size when we went there last time.We have now put this down as a regular eating place on Sunday. My only gripe is that they need to allow space between courses; at one stage one of us was still chewing the remnants of our starter when the main course was presented. I can understand in a small place where seating is limited but this restaurant is big and I have never seen it full. People want to spend a leisurely afternoon, not just cut, swallow and leave. This type of service is so common in the UK and US to a certain extent, yet go to the continent and a waiter will leave you for hours to enjoy a one course dish and a glass of wine. Maybe Zaza can say to customers to call them over if or when they are ready for dessert or coffee and then people can say, "we are ready now" or "okay thanks, we'll call you when we are ready". Otherwise no grumbles and definitely highly recommended particularly the seafood spaghetti, spinach and ricotta ravioli and large pasta shells with chicken, pesto and pine nuts. Yummy !
