Find out what Italian restaurants to try in Manchester. Famed for its soccer team and music scene, which has produced the likes of the Smiths and Oasis, this center for sports and the arts is a down-to-earth and friendly city. The so-called Capital of the North has overcome industrial decline, bombing (in WWII and by the IRA) to become a confident and cosmopolitan city of well over two million. It is well served by a bus and light rail network. Top attractions include the Lowry art complex, arcade Affleck's Palace and Canal Street gay village.

We stayed in the city center and wanted to find a restaurant nearby. This was mid week and a relatively quiet time. The restaurant is situated on a corner on Deansgate and Market street, rather busy with traffic, but quiet enough in the evening. Staff was very helpful and welcoming. We had pizzas and pasta and the house red. It was a very nice meal, nothing extraordinary but really good. The service was good and friendly. We were happy with everything.Ciao! Thanks so much for your review and all of your positive feedback! We are so grateful that you chose to dine with us here at Dom's and that your evening with us at Dom's! I will be sure to pass your comments on to the team and the chef. Thanks again, and we hope to see you again in the future!

Had wanted to try here for ages and decided to try it after seeing a voucher deal. The place was quiet when we arrived and staff didnât seem very attentive. Finally ordered wine and a sharing board - the wine arrived and was dumped on the table, didnât even bother pouring the glasses. The sharing board looked impressive but was disappointing- had much better elsewhere. Staff didnât bother asking if everything was ok - seemed to be more bothered hiding behind the counter and talking amongst themselves. Wouldnât return or recommend - there are far nicer places in Manchester.Ciao Stupii,Thanks for leaving this review. We agree this is not the service we aim at giving to our visitors. Please contact us on [email protected] so that we can get more details and investigate.GrazieNino

We had pre-booked a table but at the time of our visit it was fairly quiet so getting a table wouldn't have been an issue that visit. This Pizza Express was chosen due to it's great reviews and it didn't disappoint. We shared starters and for our main courses two of us had pizzas and one had a pasta dish all thoroughly enjoyed, followed by great desserts. Our waiter (Jesus) was lovely and provided excellent service. We felt it was very good value.

Have to agree with previous review by Charlotte; wouldnât have known it was meat in our Ravioli, the pasta was a bit too al dente & it wasnât hot enough. The place is not quite special enough and pretty small - so do need to book. I would say itâs a great student venue but the wines are ridiculously expensive... Friendly service and very welcoming.

Honestly, if you have not tried this pizza then you have been missing out! This is a family friendly âno airs and gracesâ pizzeria. This is without doubt the best pizza weâve ever eaten! Every dish is fantastic and the ingredients are simple and tasty - food that has not been messed with whatsoever. Try it! You owe it to yourself!

Food cooked in stone baked oven so was ready within minutes. Got a cheesy garlic bread starter and it was incredible it was swimming in garlic butter. Also had the meatballs starter and the tomato sauce was insane. The pizzas are authentic and taste boss. Bring your own booze as well.
